I've managed to put about 400–500 miles on the Tesla so far...it's my first electric car, and I’ve actually been really impressed. With the new Tesla software you can check the battery health, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it’s still at 88% even after nearly 80,000 miles. When I collected the car there wasn’t a main charger lead included, but the manager kindly gave me one he had in the back, which would’ve cost around £100–£200—so I was really grateful for the gesture.

While the service at the point of sale was excellent, I have to say the aftersales support has been a bit disappointing. If you're considering buying a car, I’d strongly recommend making sure all items are present and correct before completing the sale — the chances of receiving anything afterwards appear to be slim to none. Rating four stars on the basis that I'm still awaiting the missing parcel shelf and vehicle manual.

My son’s currently learning to drive so we decided it was time to find him his first car. We ended up buying a Renault Clio from Crompton Way and it’s been perfect for him.
