J ai acheté plusieurs 1 belles MGB chez Croydon. James sympathique et réactif. Je lui ai amené 4 nouveaux clients. En tout, grâce à moi James a vendu 7 MGB. Pour me remercier il m à dit qu il me réservait une MGB 1964 pull handle dans un excellent état. La voiture est de 1964 mais pas avec les bonnes poignées l interirieur à l air de 1972 et elle a tellement de rouille que je ne peux pas rouler en France avec à cause du contrôle technique. La dernière livraison qu il a faite (4 voitures) seulement 1 était À PEU PRET bien les trois autres ne correspondaient pas du tout à ce qu il avait dit et depuis bien sur, plus de téléphone et il met mes mails à la poubelles. Je ne sais vraiment pas d où viennent tous ces avis extraordinaires mais ce monsieur n ai pas un bon professionnel à qui on peut faire confiance, il est imprévisible.

Translate - I bought several 1 nice MGBs from Croydon. James friendly and responsive. I brought him 4 new clients. In all, thanks to me James sold 7 MGB. To thank me he said that he had reserved a handle of MGB 1964 prints for me in excellent condition. The car is from 1964 but not with the right handles and the interior looks from 1972 and it has so much rust that I cannot drive in France with it due to the MOT. The last delivery he made (4 cars) only 1 was SO READY well the other three did not correspond at all to what he had said and since then, of course, no more phone calls and he encountered my emails in the trash. I really don't know where all this extraordinary advice comes from, but this gentleman is not a good professional who can be trusted, he is unpredictable.

Cet homme est malhonnête, surtout envers les acheteurs étrangers car ils ont très peu de droits.
Ma MG était pleine de rouille sur le devant, le capot et les panneaux latéraux et cela m'a coûté cher à réparer, le propriétaire ne m'aide pas et ne sert à rien.

My experience with Croydon Classics was great. I purchased an MGB GT from photos and video sent to me by James. Everything went smoothly and he was very helpful, professional and was ready to answer any questions I had. He made me feel at ease about the whole thing. When the MGB was delivered to me, I was pleased to see true to his word the car was as described. Nothing seems to be any problem to this dealer. I would definitely recommend Croydon Classics!

Fantastic sales. I purchased my MGB from Croydon Classics and from viewing the car to picking it up, it was fantastic service. I dealt with James who was friendly, helpful and very polite. When I pointed out something he said would be replaced on the car, but hadn't been, he dealt with it straight away. Very professional and went out of his way to make everything easy for me. Great in every respect!

My brother purchased a car from Croydon Classics on my behalf. Due to me living in Edinburgh I was unable to purchase the car myself. A few quick phone calls back and after the forth, it was all sorted. Very efficient and honest guys. Feel like I got a great deal too. Better experience here than most of the places I've been previously. Very happy customer. Claasy service from Croydon Classics

I bought a 1970s MG Midget from James a little while back now.
It was sold as a vehicle in excellent condition which was just serviced.
I only managed to drive it for 20 miles before it broke down.
I had to get the vehicle towed back to my local garage which was 340 miles away.
I could not get James to contact me or even pick up the phone, as soon as the money was exchanged I was ignored.
My only advise when dealing with this individual is caveat emptor.
I had to spend £1500 getting the bonnet, front wings repaired due to covered up corrosion. Mechanically it was just an issue with the coil pack, which was cheap to replace but still was left stranded picking up a recovery bill.

I had a similar experience. I wish I had heeded the poor reviews. Lost thousands on buying a car that was rotten through, filled with fibreglass, bolts missing and clamps. Panels missing and entire underneath rusted and painted over. How James Barton can live with himself I don’t know. Please be careful. I would never recommend going near Croyden Classics

My experience with Classic Automobiles was great, Alan the man i dealt with was brilliant he made my purchase easy , Every thing went smoothly and he was very helpful,professional and was ready to answer any questions i had. He made me feel at ease about the whole thing. There were a few small marks on the car James said no problem he would have it sorted.When i collected the car i was please to see true to his word they had been done.Nothing seems to be any problem to this dealers.
