Bought a Mercedes car from Eddie Wrights Car Supermarket for 20k with 28k miles and paid for it to be taxed but letter rec'd from DVLA stating it was not taxed and found out EW had not taxed car, this appears to be a regular occurrence reading other reviews!! Car was advertised with FSH and was also told it had FSH on several occasions but there was no service book as it was ' on car computer '. 9 months down the line when the car engine seized up, we find out there was no FSH after all and the RAC platinum warranty that we paid £400 for (that we also took out through EW )are trying to wriggle out of paying for a new engine , around 12k! Taking further legal advice, Ombudsman and Trading Standards as we believe we were missold car and warranty as warranty should not have been sold if car did not have a FSH! Will also contact local newspaper Avoid at all costs!!

Hi Just wondering how you got on with your issue as we are going through a similar issue with Eddie Wrights we have informed the loan company and fin/ Ombus. we havnt seen our car since june.Its hard work even when you state the consumer act 2015 Kind Regards Sanchia Parry
Just bought a second car in three years from Eddie Wright best car I've ever bought car was serviced, all jobs that needed doing was done, MOT carried out all at no extra cost to myself. Picked the car up at the time that was arranged car had been valeted and well turned out. The sale's men are very friendly and helpful but only buy what you really want or need they are very good at their job and could sell ice cubes to an es'kimo. In the future when the car needs a service I will be taking it back to them although I will have to travel twenty five miles each way I know the work will be carried out to a very high standard at a very reasonable rate with twenty % of and a loan car. Would I buy another car again from them Most Definitely.

Eddie Wright Car Supermarket are not even worth 1 star.. absolutely disgusting the way they treat there customers.. told me to insure the car I was picking up 10mins before getting so I did that.. got to the scunthorpe branch to be told I couldn't have the car yet I just paid 265 insurance upfront which I'm now out of pocket and to top that off it has been 7 days since they said they was giving my deposit back of 200pound and still haven't received my money back... shocking place would not recommend anyone to deal with these.

Sales staff thought it would be appropriate to add over £2000 of extras onto my finance. It should have been 7800 but was over 10000 instead. In addition to this the sat nav doesn’t work because of missing parts and the boot cover is also missing. They refused to do anything about it. Very poor customer service so I will never be going there again. Avoid Eddie Wright Car Supermarket at all costs!!!

I bought a car from Eddie Wright Car Supermarket over Christmas and was told that the 2nd key was still with the previous owner (a church) and it would be chased up, i chased them to be told i had to pay for a 2nd key myself and no one has contacted me since, Next time ill find a reliable firm to deal with

Just bought white 65 Kia Sportage from Eddie Wright Car Supermarket.. We were left alone to browse and look around at our own leisure and when we finally found the two cars we wanted to test drive Albert could not be more helpful. After choosing the right car Mark processed our deal making sure they're deal was better than all others we had had from other dealers. This issue with Eddie Wright Car Supermarket has been ongoing since October regarding their refer a friend promotion. No cheques received in the post after giving in the slip to Ricardo when purchasing the Astra GTC to which he was very rude and came across as quite aggressive with his sales. I have phoned many times to be told that my messages to be passed on as no one was available to speak too and to be told someone would phone me back. Have asked to speak to a manager plenty of times to put in a complaint to be told that they are busy and would phone me back, to which no one has ever phone me back. Only phone call I received was from Ricardo to be told that he would pass the paperwork on to accounts for them to send out cheques on 29th December to which no cheques have been received. Have to spoken to a lady called Stacey on Friday 25th January and for her to say that she would look in to this and would ring me back to which have not received a phone call from her. Have rang twice this week to speak to her to which I get the same response that she is busy & will ring me back to which she hasn’t. This is very disappointing as we have had good customer service from them in the past and have thought of them to be reliable car dealership. Also on their website & on their ‘on hold’ message says that they are rated 10 out of 10 for customer service but the customer service we have received has been extremely poor and not what I would assume to be 10 out of 10.

Was highly recommended to purchase a car from Eddie Wrights from friends and even though we are not local worked on local knowledge. 2 weeks after picking up the car, it was in the garage with major work being carried out. Two weeks after that it was back again due to further engine faults, a further 3 weeks after that it is now not working at all, and back at the garage with Eddie Wrights unwilling to help as the car is out of their warranty. In effect I have lost 2.5 weeks of the car since I purchased it from them due to it being off the road in a garage. I will be seeking further assistance on this matter.
