Bought a car from here at the end of November. Great customer service while buying the car. When I got home, noticed the MOT had an advisory, slight oil leak. I was slightly worried. Also, when the car warmed up, a puff of smoke came from the exhaust and there was a burning smell inside the car. I phoned up and spoke to Callum who told me that the smoke from the exhaust was normal and that the oil leak was just some oil spilled while topping up. I sent e-mails about my concerns and asked if I could bring the car back for them to have a look at it. None were answered by the staff. (I was later told that the reason that my e-mails were not answered was that I sent them to the wrong department!!!! They operate from a small office of 3 rooms and if I had sent them to the wrong department why didn't they forward them to the right department) The following week I rang again and spoke to Callum who got the mechanic to phone me. When I explained the problem with the smoke and burning smell, he asked me if there was a warning light showing. I said no, to which he replied that he couldn't do any thing unless there was a warning light showing. He told to keep driving the car until a warning light came on, and to get back to him when this happened. I felt that the Callum and the mechanic trivialised my concerns and fobbed me off with excuses. I decided to take the car to my own garage to have my concerns investigated. The oil was coming from the Turbo. When this was being sorted by my garage, they found the turbo was knackered. End result a bill of £1650. Worse was to come. After the warranty ran out, a warning light came on showing a DPF problem. Anyway, to cut a long story short, it cost me a further £340 and £400 to sort out the Blocked DPF. I tried to get the company to help me out with the repair costs, but I was told it was my fault for getting the car repaired elsewhere, without their permission and if I had told them of the problems, they would have sorted it our for me. I did try to tell them there were problems but I was fobbed off. I felt that the only option I had was to get my own garage to investigate and repair the problems as my concerns were ignored and trivialised. I just wish I had never, ever seen their advert for the car I was looking for.
Came back to empressive for our 2nd car today. Amazing service, Paul couldn’t be any more help if he tried. Would definitely be returning in the future !! Thank you empressive!
Baught a vuaxhall corsa griffin from here Excellent service from the moment i stepped on the premises, i cant thank paul and the boys enough theyve been brillant through the whole process. Car is immaculate inside and out a fresh mot Would highly recommend buying from them
These guys let me make a 6 hour round trip to look at a vehicle they knew had just failed it's mot, couldn't even be bothered to call me to let me know. No apologies, no nothing. When I did see the vehicle it wasn't in the condition they'd described. I'd keep well away if you don't want your time wasted
Full of lies and unprofessional the way this company talks to its costumers is absolutely disgusting. From the first call I made I was felt uncomfortable by the owner Mark he’s so rude it’s unreal however take nothing away from Matthew what a great chap, I’ve brought a BMW of these guys wish I never had, they told me it has full bmw service only to find out last service was done in 2021 (I got it delivered)and it was only a oil change, not to mention few other issues too tried calling em so many times no answer, there was a slight issue with the car I traded in only to find out couple months after that it still had finance on it which wasn’t mine as I brought it cash but rang the company to prove innocent and all proved I had no idea about this what so ever but rather then ringing and trying to resolve the issue (bare in mind it took Empressive motors 2 months to find out after making the sale)then only to get a call from Mark threatening to come down smash the car with 4 of he’s mates and said I know where you live what a childish behaviour and he’s meant to be the owner bare in mind in he’s 60s .. so not only will you get a really poor service but to top it up you’ll also get the rudest and the most unpleasant car buying experience you’ll have so my advice will be too avoid this place and find your next car elsewhere!!

Purchased a Hyundai i20 from them. Had the car for 2 weeks then it developed problems with the air con and the clutch. So we returned the car back to them for the repairs to be carried out. The car sat there for a week without any work being done. Eventually the car was returned to us . We then found that the drivers seat was absolutely filthy so we had to pay for it to be valeted.

Lovely car, great service, Paul was a true gent went above and beyond, cars at good price, can't thank them enough
Couldn’t fault this garage originally, the team were friendly and helpful. After owning the car a week, a tyre sensor light came on, this fixed itself when i bought new alloys for the car. Then the handbrake failed another week later so we replaced all brakes and un-stretched the handbrake cable. Then fast forward to nearly 3 months of owning the car, a horrible noise occurred when steering. I contacted the warranty company and they couldn’t have been more helpful, unlike the after sales team of ‘Empressive motor company’ who seem to be almost completely uncontactable. It ended up being the steering rack which was completely buggered, costing £1970, luckily warranty covered £1200. After 3 weeks of having the car off the road, we then went on holiday. On the drive home, the top mount of the shock absorber completely shattered leaving the shock smashing against the wheel arch. I have had no end of problems with this car and have spent roughly £2000 on repairs in just 4 months of owning it… Be careful of this company!
Bought my Mercedes here had nothing but problems with it since, the warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on so had to spend over a grand on it myself after spending 14k already, staff are rude and extremely unhelpful especially Matt, all they care about is the money your non existent once you’ve bought something off them. Please avoid this garage with your life!!!!!!!
