I also spent slot of time trying to get them to fix standard bits on the car they agreed they would do. After taking the car away I had to spend another £1500 elsewhere to put the car right. Noel and his business partner... No good.
After purchasing a vehicle from ‘Excellent Cars’ I have made a complaint within a matter of days due to the catalogue of issues that have become apparent in such a short space of time - some so bad that the car should not have passed the MOT that they promised to conduct which hasn’t been completed - it is unsafe to drive. I have had to resort to seeking legal advice due to the lack of and unprofessional response, ignorance and poor service. The incident has now been reported to the Trading Standards and will be passed on further to the Car Ombudsman if I am not issued with a full refund within the 8 weeks. I would avoid the company at all costs and I certainly will not be recommending or purchasing from them again in the future.

I have same issue, I bought car just last week and it’s over priced it’s my fault to pay overprice without check with other dealer but after next day I have started orange warning light on dashboard and now bring it back but they are agree to give my money back, I don’t know what should I have to do now, appreciate if you can give me some advice.

Do not risk your lives dealing with this place The car was a death trap and no one cares. Did not blink a eye at selling a young women a car deemed has un safe and knowingly knew it was all the savings I had. I am currently getting legal advise and reported this company to auto trader and many more. I have also been in touch with bbc 's Watchdog .

POOR SERVICE, POOR CARS, POOR AFTERCARE. NOEL PALMER IS A CHARLATAN! HAD MONTHS OF ARGUING AND LIES, STILL TRYING TO GET MY DEPOSIT BACK EVEN AFTER THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN HAS RULED IN MY FAVOUR. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, NOTHING BUT CON MEN.

I bought a Clio (white 2014) end September 20 costing £6000 after 2 days notice an oil leak, so took it back and they had it almost 1 week. A couple of days after picking it up had another oil leak worse than before where they had to come and have it picked up on a truck, which took almost 2 weeks to repair. Then in December it started to smell of burning and all the warning lights came on and lost its power. I had to get the finance company involved and they sent an independent assessor who said it had so many issues and probably would need a new engine. The finance company had to fight them all the way and I finally got my money back last week (end March) but they sent me a cheque for my deposit. These are a cowboy outfit and should not be allowed to trade!! Please, please avoid if you value your money and sanity, as its been one of the worst experiences of my life!!!

Got a car 3 weeks ago. Vauxhall Astra guy said can take it back. If anything’s went wrong with it I ringed up cos car just totally died on me at work and guy said it’s not covered don’t expect a car to fuck up in 3 weeks. Explained a few Bit to him. And he like I don’t know what’s u mean clearly shouldn’t be selling cars if u don’t know nothings about them. I wouldn’t buy from them. I wouldn’t recommend them Ever
