Bought a car, had it for 3 days, returned with multiple faults and eventually rejected! Now going through legal action trying to recoup my deposit. Do not waste your money on any vehicle from this dealership.

I purchased a white VW Polo for my daughter approx 4 weeks ago; my son and daughter travelled from London to Sheffield to collect, when they arrived the salesman Noel tried to scam them saying the price advertised was for a green Golf and not for the Polo, trying to skank us out of another £400 pounds extra. My son was stern and professionally telling him you cannot treat people and scam people like that and said if he didn't sell us the vehicle as advertised they would return back to London without the car; the rogue salesman relented and the car was purchased. We also paid an extra £199 for 6 months warranty, I was perplexed as to why it didn't have warranty anyway. The vehicle has now encountered issues - break fluid has all leaked out because the cylinder was broken; we contacted Noel yesterday, he dismissed the matter saying we will have to contact RAC Warranty and that it now has nothing to do with him; my daughter tried various departments in RAC to speak with someone and she was passed around like a flamin yoyo, they too were unhelpful; she's now taken it to her local garage to have it fixed and she will be liable to pay. We will be making a formal complaint to The Motor Ombudsman, it's ridiculous that supposed businessman can treat people so callously. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLES FROM THIS COMPANY...Scammers

They give you all the sales bullshit!!! bought a car 6 weeks ago!! said it had a full MOT and after 600 miles if that i need a full set of brakes and discs. shocking service!!! was more interested telling me about his wifes Q7 needed new breaks last week! stay away!

Been to look around Excellent Cars today looking for a new family vehicle. All the cars upholstery and internal bodywork were covered in surface mould. Put off instantly, its all well and good having balloons etc but take care of your cars first and fore most!

Totally unreliable dealer!

My husband bought me a car from Excellent Cars in Sheffield last month and we decided to take the car to a mechanic specialist in that brand for a full diagnostic and he detected faulty on car that the seller didn’t mentioned at the time. For that reason the car was send it back to the dealership and the problem explained to be fix it but the dealership don’t want to acting properly saying they can do it but the bill need to be split between them and us. It is not fair because was a problem on car before, now I want the money to be refund. When the car was purchase the seller was kind and now he was very rude, he wasn’t honest because he should told the car issues to decide if we want it or not. I am very disappointed with the dealership attitude and the car is not been a month with us, by law on consumer rights act 2015 it says that the product can returned if the customer is not satisfied with the product.

Car from Excellent Cars broke down in middle lane of a1 then arranged for free rac in my nlater had to cancel recovery as this was not right next day drove it back in limp mode was scared to death I recentame 7 hrs ly. had heart attack anyway After a stressful time they gave me and my 72 year Old man train fair home we left house at 8am got home 11.30pm as it was a bank holiday after some time got my money back thinking thank god rid of them 1 year later getting toll charges all over London and airports getting taken to court they don't care don't keen to be nasty but cant believe any 5 stars on here as aftersales horrendous STAY CLEAR AND SAFE in my opinion safety comes first my wife cryed for that whole weekend I also had to pay garage to check car again at my expense since. I purchased. the car still getting letters I have now been advised to take them to court they sold the car and did not inform dvla hence me getting over 500pound traffic tickets it is now upto me a disabled person to prove I don't own the car nightmare when I am recovering the preasue of thinking theres going to be a knock on door to take our good don't can tell you more but this would end up a bestseller unlike there cars.

Am not happy with service from Excellent Cars when I bought a Honda Civic. Passenger door handle was broken took it back was told they had put a new door Handel Within a week the door Handel is still broken can not open door. I spoke to the agent who sold me the car explained I dnt want to have a car that’s going to keep breaking down or issues I was very clear I bough the car on finance and do not want to end up with a car which am going to be struggling to get repaired. His reply was its not your car it’s on finance you done own it thought and the door Handel is minor. No to me it’s not minor as it broken again I can not open the door now am having to ring u back make time to travel from Leeds to have it looked at again He was quite offensive. In regards to telling me it’s on finance u don’t own the car. Plus I had to drive your crap curtesy car for a week and Again am going to have to ring you back travel from Leeds to have the door Handel looked at been a single parent it’s very very difficult I bough this car hoping I am not going to have an issue.

#BUYERS BEWARE# well where do I start purchased a vaxuall corsa from Excellent Cars in 2017 on finance when I went the car I was supposed to get was supposedly been sold so they said they had this one (big mistake as I know nothing about cars). They wanted£100 holding deposit and the test drive I was out no more than 5 minutes the car had damage on the back bumper. I had only had the car a few weeks and had to have a oil leak fixed it also had 4 different tyres it has had 2 new Lander senses and a new exhaust I have been told the car was dodgy and had been involved in a accident by a qualified mechanic. Avoid at all cost they will take your money and rip you off
