I had a rav 4 from them, in the 1st week the brakes ceased. They replaced all discs and pads no problem ar all. A week after it lost water, took it back and they replaced head gasket. Two days later water gone again because engine had a crack, they replaced the car with no quibble every time. The car was repaired, gave me a car to use, found staff helpful and don't blame them for the faults on the rav and I would recommend them to my friends.

Very happy with the service provided here. I was kept up to date with the work getting carried out on my car and was given a temporary car while the work was done.

Avoid at all costs! I wish I had read reviews before purchasing my car. car isn't as advertised. Told them to get sorted and wanted 3 weeks for a stereo that doesn't work and now no parking camera or sensors. Told they changed turbo. Car blowing blue smoke because of that. Now took back to be repaired again and waited over a week for them to let me know what was going on. Have now contacted finance company about faults and they now have their own investigator on case. Next stop financial ombudsman and trading standards.

I would advise no one to buy a car from this dealership. I bought my car and not even 20 mins of owning it and driving home the cars engine light came on. I phoned the guy that dealt with me up and demanded my money back he basically told me there was no chance and he told me to take it back to be looked at which i did the next day even after that the same again happened. I was driving home when the engine light came on, im at the min getting In touch with trading standards. Excellent Cars are nothing but dodgy trust me on this, don't waste your money people.

We bought a car from 'not so Excellent Cars'. Heat guard needed to be reattached, CD player swallowed a CD and never worked, Suspension required fixing, clutch was worn but most seriously, the handbrake didn't work and the battery was bulging with a serious risk of it exploding and setting fire to the car, we were warned by an independent mechanic NOT to drive it as it was a hazard. They did deal with the handbrake, suspension and battery but ripped the CD out of the CD player to wreck the radio as well. A disclaimer had to be signed for us to have the car back, stating that we agree to all the 'repairs' and that they would sue us up to a fee of £10,000 if my husband used any form of media to tell anyone about the above. BEWARE 'NOT SO EXCELLENT CARS'.

I speak as I find. I purchased a Honda Civic in July. A tad over priced but they are selling like hot cakes and I knew it would go to someone for the asking price if I didn't take it. It came with one month free warranty. Within a week of me having it it became apparent there was a problem with the clutch which wasn't covered by the warranty. However they took the car back, lent me a courtesy car, replaced the clutch and was ready for collection within 3 days. It was a hassle free, no nonsense transaction. I would have no hesitation recommending them.
