Wife's car got wrote off in an accident. Went to the Fort and they looked after our specific needs and helped us purchase an upgraded KUGA that the wife loves. Was a horrible time following the accident but the team made us feel at ease.

We have been coming to the Fort for around 6years now, where we buy all of our family cars. 3 in the family and 5 purchased. They treat is like family which is the personal touch we aspire for.

Rudi Tayara from Fort Used Car Centre in response to Scammers
Mr Tayara, in response to your review I would like to add a couple of significant points. You Purchased a vehicle from The Fort Used Car Centre in October 2020, Your Vehicle developed a fault in January 2121, You then decided to take your vehicle to a Range Rover Dealership in Solihull, whereas the vehicle could have been returned to us for diagnosis and repair under your warranty. The Range Rover Dealership told you that you required a new engine, and we advised that we did not think that this was the case. We proceeded by asking your permission to recover your vehicle from the range Rover Dealership, in order to send this to a specialist who would carry out further investigation. You gave us permission to do this, we proceeded to send a recovery vehicle to collect your car from Range Rover at our cost. Ranger Rover refused us collection as there was an outstanding bill to be paid before we could indeed collect. The aforementioned bill was then settled and we scheduled another recovery vehicle, to collect your vehicle, again at our cost. We are currently still diagnosing the vehicle which you gave us permission to do so.

I’ve made it very clear in writing that I’m rejecting the car. Not intersted in having a bodge job backstreet garage repair or dealing with your company any further You are refusing to refund my money - (breaking the law) The rude, patronising, arrogant owner of your company called this morning advising me to “take the legal route” refusing to refund my money as i “had now driven the car” I’ve waited 6 weeks. Incurred costs tor transport, inspection, and had to get a rental car, now around £1500 out my own pocket Countless other reviews from people experiencing the same thing.
Rudi Tayara from Fort Used Car Centre in response to Scammers
Mr Tayara, You requested a refund after giving us permission to inspect your car, which we are doing. We have requested a legal reply form our Legal Team in response to your rejection request, after giving us permission to inspect your vehicle.

FULL YEAR LATER THEY HAVE BEEN ORDERED BY THE FINANCIAL OBBEDSMAN TO REFUND MY MONEY AND ARE STILL REFUSING THIS SHOWS THE LENGTHS THEY WILL GO TO SCAM PEOPLE ABSOLUTE SCUMBAGS
Bought the BMW for £12000 broke down the next day dumped all its oil. I told them I want a refund but they said no, I tried to use my rights but these guys are crooks. Smiles and charm but when they get a problem they leave you for dust. They explained that their mechanic had messed up when he did an oil. Change and I explained I understand mistakes happen but due to the damage that could have caused to the engine I would like a refund. No they replied and the sales man Ian became a little aggressive. Don't waste your money!!!!! Six months ago that was and the BMW is a wreck. The last laugh will be on me though as I have a little surprise for the crooks when lockdown is over.

You sound a bit thick mate, did you finish education, might need a refresher if possible!
We purchased a Renault Megane TomTom from Fort Auto Cars. Since we have had it we have encountered problems. We took it back and they said it was fine now. Same problem and we rang them back, they said we could swap the car. We had to chase them and then they said the car we were going to swap it for was sent back as there was something wrong with it. They said they would ring us back but never did. What dreadful customer service we have encountered and will never recommend a Mickey mouse company like them. The car was overpriced too. If I could given zero stars I would.
Was sold a mini one convertible should have been in showroom condition paid top money ended up having faulty tyres and no service history and they will not do anything about it

Firstly I would like to say how disappointed my husband and I are with the terrible customer service we have received from the Fort Used Car Centre . The complete lack of communication and fobbing off we have experienced is absolutely diabolical. This whole thing has left us feeling ripped off and sold empty promises! After our conversation with Carl on Saturday afternoon which was prompted by my call to Jason I was sick to my stomach at the way I was spoken to by him and the fact that Carl thought it was acceptable for him to dictate the next course of action without discussion or consultation with us and that we would just have to accept it. My husband and I have discussed at length Carl’s offer to refund the price we paid for the ML along with my number plate retention fee however this offer is not acceptable. We want the oil leak fixed as promised. Karl stated that by law he has to make sure we are in the same position we were in before the purchase of the ML however unless he plans on getting the car I part exchanged back as well as refunding the money we paid for the ML this is not possible. Even if we were reimbursed for the cost of the ML and number plate retention cost we will still not have a car and after our experience we would not have another car from yourselves. We have also made additional purchases for the ML including personalised car matts and new side steps alongside other accessories which in turn will leave us out of pocket. From paying the deposit for the ML we had to wait 3 weeks before the car was ready for final purchase. We were going to walk away as we had found another vehicle but when we arrived at the Fort and advised Jason of our decision (we couldn’t find Ian straight away) he wasn’t very happy and told us the vehicle was prepped and ready to go. Ian then arrived and pleaded with us to continue with the purchase. My husband advised Ian he had a few concerns namely the clanking sound on start up and the historical oil leak as shown in a previous MOT failure and the key not working properly. Ian proceeded to ask us how he could make the sale happen we said we needed a second key and the oil leak sorting. We were told “we will fix the problem”. It was a further week before the car was ready for collection and the supposed oil leak rectified. After making the final purchase and getting the car home within two days it was clear there was still an oil leak. I advised Ian and he booked the car in. We then had to wait 3 days before we were told the problem was rectified. Once again after a couple of days it was clear we still had a problem. We let Ian know and he booked it in for repair on 21st September (TODAY at Wood Lane) however after conversations with my husband we decided we wanted a thorough diagnostic by a Mercedes specialist. Once the diagnostic was completed the specialist was able to pin point the issue and advised on works needed to rectify the issue which is a common fault with this car. We were also told the car should never have been sold in this state which when I told Ian he agreed. I spoke to Ian who advised this should be covered by the Gold Warranty from auto protect and would not be an issue for the works to be completed by the specialist however this was not the case. Auto protect advised the specialist the work needed to be carried out was not covered by their warranty. However both Ian and Jason told my husband and I they send so much business to Auto Protect they had clout with them and it wouldn’t be an issue to get the decision overturned. We were told to get the written quotes sent over and to book the car in with the specialist as you (Fort Used Car Centre) would make it right whether the warranty were going to cover it or not. At this point we advised we were willing to work with you (Fort Used Car Centre) on this and that we would cover the cost of the timing chain. We then went ahead and booked the car in for Tuesday 22nd September (TOMORROW) and advised you (Fort Used Car Centre) of this. This was on Wednesday 16th September. After receiving no communication and sending texts/emails with no response I called Jason’s mobile on Saturday afternoon 19th September which was the first time I was told the warranty cover would not be overturned and that you (Fort Used Car Centre) thought paying for the repair was not “viable”. Moving forward our proposal is that you (Fort Used Car Centre) cover the cost of the oil leak repair as promised along with the key barrel repair which was already agreed and my husband and I will pay for the timing chain. Any future repairs that may occur which are not covered by or within the warranty will be the responsibility of my husband and I. Once again I would like to reiterate our utter disappointment and disgust in the treatment we have received. We look forward to hearing from you as a matter of urgency.
