Les Rayner Foxhunters Motor Co have been excellent. I have searched every dealership for a car. Les Rayner is by far the best...No pressure sales, says it how it is and the presale and after service is excellent. Very helpful and always obliging with any requests.
Agreed to buy Mercedes from Les Rayners Foxhunters Motor Co via eBay offered to pay deposit Guy said not necessary so arrange collection date bought train ticket £58.00. Then received email saying is father was having the car, I then called Guy who then said his fathers friend had bought, I asked for money for the train ticket on Guy saying and confirming he would keep the car for me. Liar Liar Liar Liar Avoid at all costs 1 star for answering the phone.
Just bought a VW Golf from this garage I part exchange my car , they give me a great deal and was over the moon. There was a slight problem with the Golfs door but Graham there mechanic was fantastic and on to it straight away and got it sorted. Great team
When it comes to buying cars you want a good quality car, a competitive price, good service and good people to deal with. This is why it's my second time back and I am very happy with the overall service and quality car I got from them. They are excellent to deal with and deliver what they promise. I have no difficulty whatsoever in recommending them as a car dealership and I give them a 5 out 5 rating! thanks again guys ! Ken
I have dealt with Les Rayner at Foxhunters Motor Company for 14 years so have my kids we all have cars from this company and hand on heart they have been excellent over the years Guy Rayner and David are the most genuine people you could e ever meet keep your heads up lads your simply the best.
My experience with Foxhunters Motor Company has been great! I bought a Ford Kuga from them at the end of January. Its been back a couple of times for some minor repairs but they have been really good and got it sorted as quick as possible. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
I bought a car from Foxhunters Motor Company last year, I saw it on a car finance website. When I went to collect it I noticed a couple of issues with it. I pointed them out to the dealers and they said they would get them sorted and they did but it took them a long time and a lot of pestering. The car has been fine mechanically so I would say yes - I would recommend Foxhunters but it depends on the car.
well had my golf now for 3 years, part exed my bmw 3series and in those 3 years it has never missed a beat, never failed to start and passed every mot with no problems, its not my first car from les Rayners foxhunters I have had several over the years and never had a problem with any of them. would recommend to anyone.
Bought a car for a little over £5k. Within 4 months it wouldn't drive after the problem had been wrongly diagnosed by their mechanics numerous times. Finally they sent it to a specialist and told us it was jut a small problem and they were waiting for a part. Every time we rang, they told us it would just be another day or two - finally we went to the specialist to ask what was going on only to find our car with the bonnet up on a ramp with nothing inside of it at all - apparently it needed a whole new engine amongst other things and they still hadn't even found one that was within the price they were willing to pay. we had been lied to for weeks - and without a car. We wanted to reject the car with the finance company but Guy Raynor promised us a courtesy car (which also broke down and had to be replaced) and an extra years warranty if we kept the car. Well I can tell you now that we have had the car 23 months so apparently still within the extended warranty and it needs £2.5k worth of work - new gear box and a new turbo and not only is he saying he didn't offer the extended warranty but he says it wouldn't be covered. he is also saying we should be grateful we got 30,000 miles out of it so doesn't know what our problem is. At £5k that works out at £6 per mile if we scrapped it now. The work that was done after 4 months cost just short of £3k and the work that needs doing now is £2.5k which is more than the car cost. He has sold us an absolute piece of work and doesn't care at all. Beware of Foxhunters Motor Company and never go there.

We have just been made aware of this review now. If I remember rightly this customer had a few issues just after they bought this car which were repaired at no cost to the customer and we gave them an extended warranty. When they had another issue they had done 30,000 miles and had not serviced the car during that time meaning the warranty company would not honour the claim. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure the car is serviced within the miles and time frame stipulated by the warranty company. We can not be held responsible for faults that have occurred due to customer neglect.
Very quick and easy process, not hassle. I bought a Volvo V4 back in June and I have had no problems, it runs really well and I am really pleased with the car. The dealers were really helpful and knowledgeable. I would very highly recommend this dealership to anyone.
