Incompetent and untrustworthy I’m a fair person and so this is a 100% accurate fair review. Saw a Jag F Pace for sale, made several enquires, spoke to 2 different members of staff. Decided to buy and reserved the car with a deposit. All agreed, receipted deposit email, confirming the price. A week on, after finalising the details and trying to complete the purchase I was told sorry, price is wrong and had increased 6k !!! Shambles. This claims to be an “approved” Jaguar dealership. If Jaguar approve of their conduct then I’ll never be a Jaguar customer. Hours of my time wasted, disregarded that I’d reserved the car with a deposit (which they had for 3 days and took a further 3 days to be refunded) and that we’d passed on another car to go for this and lost the chance to buy that after a week of being messed about by these incompetent jokers. Zero offer of compensation for inconvenience. Very simple advice, AVOID
They will sell you the earth and deliver a car “ with issues not covered as it’s a generic fault with this car” (BMW 2 Series exhaust rattle flexi ) All they want is your money 💰 Salesman take advantage! ( Steve) Managers shirk responsibility (Shane).and service department is so disorganised it takes you to call them for an update 2 days after doing nothing at 3.15pm and they tell you that they must have there Courtesy car back today 45 mins before you start work . WARNING, STAY AWAY FROM ALL DEPARTMENTS!!!!!
I stand by this review whole heartedly and welcome any cross examination. Be VERY careful with the car you buy. Ensure the 91 point check has been done and they have proof. Ensure you look for leaking fluids. I am not sure where they get their car stock from but the 2 I viewed were VERY dodgy. The first, a Ford Kuga had cracked windscreen, MOT history to show it ate nearside front tyres and it went into limp mode on test drive. All they said was, "you don't want it then?" They are all OVER friendly, I think it's because their cars are below standard. They would not give me any assurance that anything I found wrong with the car would be rectified. I stupidly bought car 2 from them, a Vauxhall Antara, which had nothing visibly wrong. Soon after the 3 month warranty ran out i noticed real problems requiring over £1000 worth of work on it from first MOT after purchase. If they had done there 91 point check they would have known the steering rack was leaking and the handbrake was faulty, it didn't hold if parked facing even slightly uphill which my wife and child found out. If they had serviced it like they said they had the car would not have started stalling all the time pulling away. They sold me a dud and potentially dangerous car with smiles on their faces wanting only 5 star reviews. I was basically 'had'. I had a phone call after writing this review from the Sales Manager Shaun Wallace to say that nothing could be done. I have since furnished them with nausiating detail on everything wrong with the car, and proof. Now they have just gone quiet. Please be very careful with this company and check the car thoroughly. Also, do not trust their garage. Richard
I’ve just purchased a car from this dealership and I am completely satisfied with the experience, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough, I saw the car online, spoke to salesman Steve who was extremely helpful and I decided to buy the car without going to view it. As I live in Ireland and wanted to export the car from uk it was especially important to deal with a reputable and honest firm and Hendy car store delivered on this front in spades. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm to anyone looking to buy a car. I bought my son an Astra from this dealer a few years back. Decent car, nothing wrong with the service. Ever since then I've been trying to tell them to contact him when it's due for service & MOT, but they insist on contacting me. Meantime he's trying to contact them & get the car booked in, but they don't respond to his calls. Come on Hendy. Update your records & you might get a better review!
Myself and my partner visited the showroom to look at a BMW x3. From the moment we arrived the very lovely Sam made us feel welcome and was extremely knowledgeable about the car, no pushy salesman here and excellent value for money on quality used cars. Thank you Sam we adore our new car.
went to test drive an mg zs and bought a nissan qashqai. from the time i walked in to a week later the service has been amazing. Matt Bennett sales exec was helpful, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough. he helped me find just what I wanted from the Dorset branch. great price. happy with part ex. did not feel pressured and was able to take my team. car was spotless and thrilled with my purchase. would recommend hendy car store.
