I bought A jaguar XK in April from J17 Cars Peterborough and was reluctantly given £10 to get me to the nearest petrol station as the tank was on vapour. Not what you would expect when you have just spend £22,000. The boot liner was missing but thought that this was just and formality to get it replace, after all it is a two day delivery from jaguar. I was also assured that the missing service history would be forwarded and and the missing liner would be replaced. After two months of hassling the sales guys and countess phone calls I finally drove back the 41 miles to collect the liner. Spoke to Lee the manager to complain but he couldn't give a shit, not even an apology. He did however offer a free car clean next time I was passing, not that driving 41 miles to get my car cleaned is much of a conciliation. Still waiting for the log book to the car and the service history. Wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole.

With regards to the low fuel, I apologise that you had to go to the fuel station to get the £10.00 supplement you were given, this should have been done by your salesman so I apologise for this, however all our on site vehicles are not prohibited to have much fuel in for health and safety reasons as well as our insurance restrictions. Despite many attempts to contact your company by email, telephone, letter to your managing director and asking the AA to contact you on the buy with confidence logo you have displayed on your website I am being ignored. I bought an audi tts roadster from you on 30th April 2017. It was advertised with sat nav and I bought it in good faith expecting it to work. I was handed a disc when I made the purchase and told by the salesman they did not know where it fitted. After the 2 hour drive home I fitted the disc and it is faulty my local dealer checked it and it will not work as it has a crack. Nearly 60 days has passed now and I am being ignored. Absolutely appalling sales staff, namely Lee the manager. Pushy and downright rude. Looked at a car and was made to pay a deposit just in order to go and test drive it, took 11 days to get this 'refundable deposit back. When asking questions regarding the service history the manager was standoffish and rude to my partner suggesting that no car over 5 years old has a full service history. When my partner said his car is older and has a FSH he came back with 'Well good for you, brilliant.' Disgusting behaviour, attitude and I'm lucky to have seen all of this prior to the misfortune of having to deal with this company. STEER WELL CLEAR.

Dear reviewer, I am sorry to hear your experience with Junction 17 Cars was not a good one. All holding deposits are refundable if you do not like the car when you view / test drive them which was in fact the case with yourself. The refund was raised immediately through our accounts department and takes 3-5 working days to go back onto a card which is the normal banking process for any bank, if there was a weekend within those days that would explain the extra few days. All service history is readily available for our customers to see. We are one of very view dealerships in the country that prepare our cars to such a high standard both mechanically and cosmetically including workshop preparations (including servicing and MOT), alloy and correction repairs, valeting and most recently AA inspections. My husband and I bought a Mercedes SLK at the weekend. We were greeted by friendly staff who were helpful and polite. After sitting down with Ian we agreed a great price for our Honda which beat ''webuyanycars'' price and the finance quote was excellent. After a test drive by ourselves we agreed the deal. We purchased an 18 month warranty, and the car was even ready to drive away with a passed AA inspection! All in all our experience was excellent. We would happily recommend anybody. We will definitely be back in the future!

If you are buying a vehicle at below 15,000 GBP then forget it. You are treated as easy meat and with total distaste. Count yourself lucky if you get "the cold shoulder" and regarded as a time waster. Go with your intuition and just leave as fast as you can. However, if you have 100K + then you can afford to go direct to a car manufacturers showroom and get a good deal along with a REAL warranty.

Thank you for your review, even though the content a little strange……….Anyone going to our website www.junction17cars.co.uk and putting in a search for all vehicles up to a maximum of £15,000 will see that there are 16 pages of vehicle under £15,000. Maybe you were overwhelmed by the range of vehicles we do have in our showrooms from small but perfectly formed run arounds to the big beefy supercars; which all do come with REAL warranties.
I bought my Nissan 350z from Junction 17 three years ago for £15,900. Two years later, in December 2015, I decided to sell it and I called Neil at Junction 17 to see how much he would offer. Over the phone, Neil offered £11,000 which I accepted without much negotiation. When I went to the garage in Peterborough his offer suddenly changed to £10,000! This started to ring alarm bells. After further negotiations and several clauses in the contract we finally agreed on a price. The car was put on sale and eventually one year later I realized the car was not on their website any more. I tried getting in touch with Neil but he never replied. Eventually, I received a letter from the DVLA that I was no longer the registered keeper of the vehicle. That made me believe that the car was finally sold. Finally! I tried getting in touch with Neil again (over the phone and email) and this time I tried with Kate Barker (Customer Relations Manager) as well. I finally received a reply and I was told that I was going to get paid! 4 months later and several emails/calls later I am still waiting to get paid. I really don't understand why I am not getting paid or even getting any type of response from Neil and his team. I would strongly advise anyone to be very careful before making any transactions with Junction 17. Please do some further research and you will see several bad reviews about Junction 17. Unfortunately, I made the mistake myself of not researching them properly and I wouldn’t like anyone else to go through this unpleasant experience. I will keep you updated once I receive the money.

Dear Mr Ayo, At no time were Junction 17 purchasing your vehicle, you instructed Junction 17 to sell the vehicle on your behalf through our 'Brokerage Service'. When you brought your vehicle into Junction 17 Neil inspected your vehicle and suggested you sell the vehicle at £10,000.00 and not £11,000.00. He had first suggested the amount over the telephone without viewing it which is not confirmed until inspected. As when he viewed it he found the paintwork not to be as good as you had suggested over the telephone and that there was a service and MOT required this was why his suggestion for a change in price of the return to you. There was some trim also in need of attention. The vehicle which you had suggested to be in very good condition over the telephone, was in fact in need of attention. You wanted to go ahead and ask for £11,000.00 but agreed that the trim would be deducted from the price on completion. Service and MOT required to be carried out before sale. The vehicle had a prospective buyer but offered less; this you declined and wanted to keep to £11,000.00. We then had 3 other offers over a period of time which you did not respond to any form of communication from Junction 17. Sales were lost due to no communication from yourself on these occasions. We then had another interested party by which time we had had your vehicle a considerable time. On having the MOT carried out it was found that a repair to the exhaust was required and a washer pump to pass the test. It was also found to be in need of a new battery. This was carried out to ensure the sale went through. Junction 17 have been extremely patient in the sale of your vehicle and have acted on your behalf to ensure the sale did go through. We have spent a great deal of money on advertising and time spent on initiating and carrying out the repairs which were necessary for your sale. Without repairs being made we would not have been able to sell your vehicle on your behalf. Payment has been made to you for your vehicle. From my previous review of the Company you can see I was more than a tad angry with them. Several things went wrong that should not and were never dealt with as they could have been, however the boss, Mr Colin Bacon got in touch personally and in a matter of ten short minutes had everything settled to my satisfaction. In the end the problems I was having with the cd changer in my Jaguar were less down to J17 and more to do with another garage. The gearbox problem the car developed was fixed and it now runs perfectly. The main problem was a simple lack of communication for which I have received ample apology and recompense. Would I use J17 again? Likely yes. Would I recommend them? Probably. One thing that did stick out was the young lady in customer relations who remained calm and polite at all times. She deserves cheers.
