Have not received my refundable deposit back. Despite calling to ask a number of times. Keep being fobbed off with different excuses. Do not trust them.

I recently contacted LMC after seeing a car online & ended up buying the car without actually seeing it in person. Paul Phillips was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions & kept me updated throughout the process from purchase to delivery. I have to admit I can be quite impulsive & it was only after I had paid that I read some of the reviews & I have to say if I had read them before I probably would not have dealt with LMC however based on my own experience I am very happy with the service I received & absolutely love my new car.
If you do anything please AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Paid a deposit on a car and agreed finance, booked an apt with them with the view of purchasing and driving away the car on the same day and part exchanging my car. The salesman Joe I was dealing with knowingly allowed me to drive over 2 hours from London (1 week after paying the deposit and making the apt) for him to tell me when I arrived that the car actually wasn't on site after an engine management light illuminated and had an oil leak the day prior. This was after I was informed that the car had gone through a 75 point check to ensure the car was ready and checked for sale which was clearly a lie. Nobody thought to phone and tell me prior to me visiting despite phoning one hour in advance to say id be running late due to fatal accident on the Dartford crossing. I asked for my deposit back to which Joe told me would be processing instantly. On the day I did not receive an ounce of compassion or a singe apology just a 'it is what it is' and 'I've been off for a few days' attitude. Almost 2 weeks later I am still fighting for my deposit. I asked to speak to a manager which was James the general manager, very rude, incoherent and completely unhelpful and thought rather than trying to resolve the matter thought I wanted to hear the words 'sorry' and it all be forgotten - Please DO NOT use this company, absolutely disgusting customer service. Currently going through my bank to get my deposit back - Thank goodness the sale didn't go ahead, I dread to think the issues id be having - Absolute cowboys.

They owe a lot of money to Halfords so Halfords have blocked them. LMC say they will pay for the service but due to GDPR and DPA regs can't pay over phone or be invoiced for work. You then have to chase LMC for payment back to you even though you have actually paid for this service when buying the car. The Manager was not very helpful and certainly doesn't act like a manager. Poor overall
I would avoid buying any car from LMC. So many issues & 8 months with an engine problem! Firstly the car was advertised with sat nav and car mats but this was not the case. I took the car to a main dealer who confirmed that the car has never been set up for sat nav, and the start up maps memory card would be needed, which cost me £500. After buying the car, and driving home, the tyre pressure warning came on, I pumped up the tyre but it kept loosing pressure. It went back to LMC but they were unable to find a problem. The issue continued so I had a local garage investigate, only to find that the wheel was cracked. I reported this to LMC who said they would not cover the cost for a new wheel. As I was unable to find a single wheel, I had to buy a new set at £800. A few days of owning the car the engine light came on. I informed LMC and returned the car for the fault found and fixed. But since then the car has been back countless times to "replace parts." 8 months on, the issue is not fixed and I've coverd an additional 600 miles driving to and from LMC. After taking the car to a main dealer they reported that the same problem that LMC knew about 8 months ago is still a problem. A part needs to be replaced, a part that LMC had told me they had replaced. That part would cost £1,000. LMC are now not responding to any form of communication. It's disgusting to for a car dealer to lie from creating the advert, selling the car and through to after sales. We will see what the court says
I bought a car from these a good 5 years ago. This is a long term review of my gradual findings. 2 months in I'd found I'd had a faulty glow plug module and faulty bonnet struts. Warrantee covered the module and replacement battery (under protest - I load tested it immediately after purchase, failed), along with a failing aux belt. I then find evidence that the vehicle was an ex taxi, which would've broke the deal, while inspecting it. Overpriced a bit and they were reliant on selling me the finance I needed. Which was massively oversold adding another £1200 to a £6000 car, which when valued should've been a £5000 tops vehicle being just under 100k on the clock. I was also pushed for a deposit quite quick "someone else was interested in it and you need to secure it today" I got picked up in the vehicle so glow plug module fault was hidden, but in a way, they were doing me a favour picking me up allowing me to test drive it en route to the yard. Despite the massive oversell, the hidden faults and the unable to cold start the car, LMC were friendly, accommodating and reasonable. Naturally because I was financing the vehicle I couldn't offer any lower than what they were asking. While I waited for the finance to be sorted, I had a look through their inventory, a decent stock of vehicles at the time. I wasn't in a high pressure up sell situation and was made to feel welcome. I get I may have been "not the ideal customer" because I literally wanted THAT car, with nothing much else in my pocket but a drip fed wage. When quizzed about the vehicle specifics, the salesman couldn't really help me, kind of left me to do my homework, which I quickly learned and performed all maintenance myself over the vehicles 5 year life. It was scrapped out of choice, as Mercedes begins to be a money pit with nearly 80k added over it's life.
Appalling customer service, i bought a car for 36k from LMC and part exchanged my old car. As part of the sales agreement LMC said they will repair roof interior before sale and get a new key blade fitted after sale. I asked Jengiz (sales rep) if we can delay the sale by few days as i needed my old car to take a student of mine to their driving test, he said no the car is going to be ready and you'll have to take it, so i had to cancel all my driving lessons and tests assuming the car is going to be ready, it was really hard getting through to Jengiz over the phone and email, it took over 2 weeks for the car to be ready and i ended up loosing out due to all the lesson and test cancellations. It's been 5 months now since I bought the car from LMC and I'm still chasing them to fit the key blade. This has been my worst experience in buying a car, please avoid LMC. They asked me to get a quote from Mercedes for the key blade which I did and total comes to only £69.24. Now LMC are saying they are waiting for one of their guys for the quote. ridiculous 5 months later and still waiting for a quote :(

I was promised that the front brake disc and Pads will be replaced as they were too bad and it was accepted by the sales persons. They said it will take a weeks time to arrange in stocks and would be replaced but then they didn’t inform us and when we had the censor sign showing it’s worn, then they refused to change the same. It’s actually a cheating by the company so be aware before buying a product from them.
Tried to buy a mini Cooper roadster convertible as I am from Belfast it was difficult trying to tie the deal down as I couldn't get the right deal to get the car delivered to Belfast having said that my salesperson Christian was fantastic he bent over backwards unfortunately not enough would recommend anyone to use LMC and especially Christian
I dealt with Jake and Sherena, unlike other car companies in the area, they kept in contact with me and let me know what was happening, they were friendly and got things sorted for me, would definitely recommend
