Not surprised by the reviews of bad customer service after sale, prior everything is absolutely fine they obviously want to get rid of the car, I would avoid these at ANY COST! Spend your money elsewhere where you receive a great service before and after sale. Bought the car only 2 days after brakes are making a noise which I found very unusual as I paid a lot of money for it and I had just got it, I made them aware of this straight away, 2 weeks later back of forth of chasing by myself as they were the least interested, Mercedes managed to have a look and confirmed require new brake pads, to which Charles the sales manager refused and offered a grease service instead, how would you like being fobbed off rather than actually apologising and offering to resolve the issue, from that day till this day all I’ve heard is lies, no callback from Charles, no effort been put in to replace the parts or repair the car, shocking shocking service from Charles who’s supposed to be a manager yet can’t be bothered ringing customers back to resolve issues.
Would not go near this company again. Advertised a car online which was advertised cheaper on forecourt. When asked if we could buy at the forecourt price they were not interested. When we first attended we were approached like second class citizens despite having cash in our account to buy the car outright. I would never go near this company again and upon reading other reviews on this and google it is clearly apparent I am not alone. I have given 1 star as the showroom was clean and tidy and apparent that their cleaner is the only competent person on the payroll. We bought a different car elsewhere which we love as it put us off Mercedes.
It is now one month since I picked up my Mercedes Benz E Class from MB of Giffnock.. My initial contact was with the Sales Manager, Steven Purdie, who provided me with a most detailed, and accurate description of the vehicle and subsequently a verbal pathway for viewing, testing and collecting the vehicle under the prevailing Covid regulations. Steven arranged for Alistair Crawford to oversee my arrangements when I travelled down from Nairn. Alistair met me on arrival and gave me a detailed account of all options open to me and led me through the paperwork prior to viewing the car. The car was extremely well presented and Alistair gave me a detailed brief on the updates on this model (my previous E class was over ten year old). Throughout my visit I was impressed by the strict adherence to the current Covid regulations and the manner in which all aspects of the sale were conducted. Steven took time out to introduce himself and I assured him that Alistair had ensured I was fully aware of all aspects of the purchase and had comprehensively briefed me on the new car. Well done Steven and Alistair.
Mis-represented/ mis-sold me a car as approved used when the car was in fact non-approved. The car didn't have a full service history and hadn't in fact been serviced at all in the previous 17 months. Absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation other than offering me a 'replacement' car that would cost an extra £14 per month and require an additional £500 deposit. When I tried to escalate my complaint I found out the dealership aren't represented by the Motor Ombudsman even though they claim to be on their website. Countless un-returned calls, countless hours wasted dealing with this. Car has now been rejected to the finance company and the finance company have also reported the dealership for their handling of the situation.

I called in today just to ask advice as my park pilot had stopped working and I suspected it might have been something I touched. On explaining to the receptionist I was only looking for advice on my park pilot I was informed I shouldn't even be in the premises without an appointment. I explained again that I merely wanted to ask someone with a bit of knowledge on the subject if it was just a case of pressing the correct button. I was asked to wait while she spoke to someone. Upen her return I was informed "no one will come out to speak to you". I fully understand Covid and support any measures businesses take to protect their staff. I wasnt asking anyone to enter my car, merely to speak to me from a safe distance and hopefully offer a solution to my problem. To be told "no one will come out to speak to you" is not good enough and is incredibly poor service. I expected much better from Mercedes.
I went down to Giffnock Mercedes where I met Colin Chung. He was so polite and helpful and managed to secure me a nice car. Unfortunately things with that car didn't go to plan but he got me a better deal on a new hybrid 20 plate. He went over everything and was so helpful. Great service! Let's hope after sales are just as good.
I called to book a service. The woman on the other end of the phone had attitude and couldn't give me a date. She said I would receive a call back, I asked if it would be the same day and she replied that it should be! Here I am 5 days later having received no return call. I've now contacted another dealership and booked with them even though they are further away. Times must be good when customer care is this bad...…………..
I bought Used CLA200 and the gearbox went the next day, the service was a nightmare , waited over 5 hours to get towed off hard shoulder, the hired car experience was a nightmare also , they do not return calls as promise, they make promises they do not keep. The abandon you as soon as you buy car, totally unprofessional and arrogant staff. Though dealing with Mercedes was a dream come true to turn into a nightmare with the customer service which is non existent. Left a bitter taste in my mouth.!!!!!
Car was in for warranty work after only 3500 miles,was told i would be called with progress, no call came so i called them at 16.15hrs to be told,some one else is dealing with it and they would call me back. No call back so eventually travelled to dealership,arriving at 17.00hrs to be told. "We tried to call you but your phone was engaged" My phone has call waiting and tells me if some one else is calling if i was on another call,which i wasn't as i was waiting for giffnock to call back. They could have emailed or even sent a text but nope,never happened. Then the service advisor said "oh your seat needs to be taken out to check the wiring as we think that is the problem,can you get some one to pick you up as we need to keep the car overnight" 😲😡😡😡😡 No offer of a lift or a courtesy car, which any decent dealer would have asked,even with present covid19 restrictions. We will see if it's ready tomorrow,if not then i will bypass the dp and go straight to gary savage. There should be an option for zero or negative stars. One not so happy customer.
