Credit where its due, these guys are very good and professional at what they do. That's conning and manipulation. They are lying, thieving people that need stopping! If you deal with them you will almost certainly end up out of pocket or like me in court to retrieve money. They are well known to local trading standards but its beyond a joke they continue to trade. Save yourself time and money and avoid dealing with these con artists.

First of all - their cars are not as described! If description says car is in immaculate condition etc don't believe this! I booked test drive and found car badly scratched/keyed. They promised me to paint the car if I decide to buy it. I put deposit down and waited 3 weeks! They didn't even bother to contact me with progress or anything - I had to chase them. Paint job was crap! Missed few scratches. At the end they didn't deliver the car to me in scheduled time and I had to chase them again. The 3 month warranty you receive is complete rubbish. It's 50/50 warranty where you have to pay 50% for parts and labour- they price it - you pay. Useless! My advice: don't pay any deposit upfront (over the phone), don't trust them, don't believe what they say. You better stay away and find another trader.

Put £200 deposit down as the guy said it was refundable, and subject to them seeing my cat. Changed my mind so they kept the deposit. Lying cheats, so glad I never completed the deal looking at all the other reviews. As they say Karma is a bitch, they will discover that 😉

DO NOT BUY FROM MSP! After reading all of these bad reviews, I am not even shocked! So, Ill try and keep it brief... I bought a Fiat Abarth in November 2019, ONE WEEK later I had a cam-belt fitted at a local garage where they had told me that there were at least £600 worth of MOT FAILURES on this car! Fast forward a month and a half later, the clutch had gone on the car! I had the AA out to toe me to my local garage to get it fixed (as I live well over an hours drive away from MSP, there was no way of me getting there with an unusable clutch!) I email them and explained the situation, all they said was they wanted a photo of my warranty slip and mileage of the dashboard, which I sent over straight away and didn't get a reply. Turns out it was the clutch and flywheel inside the clutch that needed replacing, so after it had got fixed I emailed back and was very polite given the circumstances, and asked if they could cover any costs, and they were nothing but rude and abrupt with me and didn't want to help in any way, even though the vehicle was still under the 3 month warranty, they said they don't cover costs from any other garages, but they didn't tell me that, they knew my car was at a garage going into repair, and they ignored my email! Literally again, ONE WEEK later the side grill on the car had come off, so I decided to take the car to a local Fiat garage to see if they could put it back on... it turns out the Fiat garage did not even want to attempt to put the grill back on, as underneath the bumper was severely damaged, and they had thought it must've been in some sort of impact, not only that but Fiat also told me that the side grills were STUCK ON WITH BATHROOM TILE GLUE!!! And it would just be best if I had a new bumper fitted! Again I got back to MSP via email, and explained everything that was wrong with the car again, I was literally arguing with them for over a period of 4/5 days, and they blamed me for everything that was wrong with the car, despite only owning it for not even 3 months!! Bearing in mind my local garage told me there was £600 worth of MOT failures after just owning it for ONE WEEK so how could I have raked up all of that damage!!! I had a video safety check from Fiat, which I sent to MSP, I luckily had kept photos from the advertisement of the car which showed the grill was already stuck on wrong before I had bought it, and surprise surprise they came out with excuses and then I didn't hear anything off them! All of this happened in just under 3 months of owning the car and I have spend well over £1200 on it already! Not even to mention the £600+ worth of MOT I am going to have to soon spend! And today, (almost 2 months later) I went out in the car, got up to about 50 mph, and the car began vigorously shaking from side to side, even when I was doing 30 mph! I am not even joking, I am not even surprised anymore, it has just been one thing after another with this piece of s***, if this car blew up before my eyes, I still wouldn't be shocked, honestly I would have been better off getting the £5000 that I spent on this heap, and just shoved it down a drain somewhere. Looking at other peoples reviews, unfortunately I am not the first that this has happened to, and most likely won't be the last. I will be going to trading standards, MIDLANDS SPORTS & PRESTIGE SOLD ME A DANGEROUS, UNROADWORTHY VEHICLE, THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE RIP OFF SCUMBAGS!!!! UPDATE*** I took the car to Fiat due to the shaking when driving, and I got told that the mechanic didn’t feel safe driving it out of the car park into the garage, let alone on the road! Fiat told me the car is highly dangerous and that they would not recommend me to drive it, and that they are disgusted that I got sold this! The repairs for this is £1728 and this isn’t even including all of the MOT failures! Fiat also valued the car at £500, bearing in mind I paid about £5400 for it 4 months ago!! So after just over 4 months of owning this dangerous car, Ive got to get rid of it as I simply just cannot afford the upkeep any longer, its been a very stressful few months, and this won't even be the end, because I will be going to trading standards. Honestly I literally beg to anyone who reads this and is thinking of buying a vehicle from them because it appears to be a good deal DON'T, JUST WALK AWAY! Honestly just spend that bit extra at a trustworthy dealership, and you will have peace of mind.

Went with my dad to purchase a car today (after looking at it originally a day before). Saw the bad reviews they had but thought I'd give them a chance. Was told that the car would be MOT'd, Services & Valeted upon purchase which initially I thought was very good. Spoke to a guy and he said as a 'goodwill gesture' because I couldn't test drive it (he said do you really have to test it before you buy it? - well yeah, who buys a car that they don't try!!) We would be able to leave £200 deposit as we couldn't test it initially due to weather conditions on the day we viewed it and if I didn't like it I would get my deposit back, no questions asked. Which all seems great right? Well here it gets interesting, Next day I received a call to say car was ready to pick up, MOTd, Serviced & Valeted. Upon arrival the car was still covered in bird s from under the trees so straight away that got me thinking straight away. Was able to take it out for a test drive and the noises it was making were bad. Definite engine problems, no way was it healthy, sounded like valve trouble. So took it back and told them the purchase wasn't going ahead. A 'mechanic' took it out with us again and he agreed it doesn't sound too healthy (the same so called mechanic who did the MOT apparently!). Anyway came back inside the office and who should turn up, who had just come back from the auctions. He was adamant there was nothing wrong and then this is where it gets worse. He said "that's it mate you're not getting you're deposit back now, you've lost it". We questioned him for a good 5 minutes, he swore blind that he didn't say we could have the deposit back when there was 3 witnesses to it. Anyway after a lot of arguing he finally agreed to give it us back - as a cheque which will no doubt leap into 2021. Absolute joke of a salesman. After this episode I'd advise anyone and everyone to avoid this company and possibly the Garage next to it as apparently a car can go from 'healthy' during its MOT to a bad car in about 4-5 hours with a host of problems - unbelievable!!! Anyway this company shouldn't be allowed to exist, I'd leave a google review but for some weird reason (I wonder why) they have no Google page!!!! I'd leave no stars if I could!* ********Follow up to previous review, the car had an MOT on it till December 2020 but they stuck a fresh one on it and it came back with more advisories than it had from the previous test in Dec 19 (only issue was exhaust had minor leak of gases in Dec 19 - come Feb 2020 it had an oil leak, minor leak of gases and corrosion to the exhaust - front pipe and flexi completely broke but miraculously managed to pass an MOT) and best part about it was that the 'mechanic' said he knew about the issues (especially the Flexi being broke) but didn't think they were as bad as they were, clearly have no idea how to do a proper MOT.

I bought a car based on all the positive reviews on auto trader, as I drove away the engine light came on and things got a lot worse after that. To cut a long story short it took 3 months of legal action with the help of the finance company to get out of this bad deal, without the finance company I would have been in big trouble. Do yourself a favour and stay away from Midlands Sports & Prestige.

Don't buy from these people car is scrap was advertised with 12 months MOT when all was paid for found out it had no M.O.T then was traveling back 150 miles car went into limp mode they were no help what so ever avoid midlands sports and prestige.

I’ve just purchased my second car from these guys and collected it on Saturday. I live in Bedford so a fair trip but each time we’ve been my wife and me have been happy with the service and cars.

I bought a car from Midlands Sport & Prestige back in February , been back 3 times for oil leak that they said they had repaired , went to get it back , black smoke coming out of exhaust , complained and kicked off in garage where he ushered me into office so other customers couldn’t here me complain , I refused to take the car away untill the issue was fixed this was last last Wednesday still haven’t heard anything from garage , got trading standards involved and my finance company , been chatting to them to find out that their broker that I went to are no longer dealing with these men !! Due to the number of complaints they have had , These so called MEN were trading under a different name in the past which was D& G motors of wood street burton on Trent ... Google there names and you will find out all about them and the number of times they have been to court !! I don’t know how people like this sleep at night !! I don’t understand how MEN like this are allowed to keep trading and ripping people off ... When you ring them up they say come and chat about it cus this conversation is being recorded and they don’t want anything to be proven !!! Do not go to these people , there untrustworthy, yellow, and rip off merchants !!!
