I went to Motor Range to look at a 1 year old Kia on Sunday the 29th May 2022 of which I was very impressed with , after we did the deal the salesman Steve told me that he had just recently sold the car and they returned it as it was to slow and that the previous owner was going to bring the log book in to the showroom on the coming Thursday which would be the 2nd June and that he would tax the car then for me, he said that I was OK to drive the car in the meantime as the previous owner still had the car taxed , I arranged to collect my car on Tue 31st May , he then did tell me that there was an £89 admin fee to buy the car and also £25 fuel charge as they put that in the car for you. On collection day , he assured me that he was going to tax it on Thursday , and on inspecting the car I noticed a chip in the front bumper what was not there when I looked at it previous, Steve the salesman said if he had seen it , he would have had it fixed, On the way home I had to stop at a petrol station as the car only had just over quarter of a tank which was the same when I looked at viewed the car, they kept my £25 and did not put fuel in my car. So from Tuesday I have been running round enjoying my road legal car , or so I thought at the weekend I got stopped with the police and made to look like a criminal for having no road tax, I explained that I just bought it and that the garage taxed it the Thursday just gone, luckily he let me go on my way, I phoned Motor Range and they did not tax it on the Thursday and was just about to go to the post office at weekend to tax it, therefore since Tuesday ive been running round with No road tax , I phoned Motor Range on Sunday 06th and they said they would call me back within 10 mins, guess what im still waiting, there is no decent after care, once they have your money they don't care , I was given an illegal car to drive around in, and they stole £25.00 from me for fuel they never give me, so I would not recommend Motor Range , im lucky that the police did not impound the car and get a £1000 fine for driving with no road tax , I also don't know why I should be paying £89 for the utter service that I received .

Worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car! Reserved online after calling to check the car. Told car was “immaculate” and been used as “display car due to condition”. Booked to collect at 11am. Arrived at 11 and advised to take a seat and someone will be with you in a couple of minutes. At 12 I chased at reception and was eventually given the keys to go and have a look while I waited. Car was a state! Every single panel was scratched. Clear the front passenger door had been replaced and done poorly, caps missing on door handle and 2 wheels badly damaged. Eventually sales man came out and I pointed out all the faults. His only reply was “yes can see what you mean”. No explanation despite him been the one who said the car was immaculate. Then showed us another one which was the same year but 800 pounds more expensive and a lower model. Asked about discount on the second and he offered to knock off 87 pounds but wanted to still charge 99 pounds admin fee. We drove 2 hours to collect the 2 year old car so walked away without apology or even acknowledgement they had lied.

Had my firth car from them serviced and Mot Paul at the service desk very helpful and Andy Seddon the salesman a true gentleman would recommend at trip if your looking for a new car

Bought car that had so many problems.. WASNT really road worthy car had mechanic problems within 3 months . I wouldnt trust this garage .. only had 3 month warrenty which isnt good for expensive vehicle. DONT use this garage always look for good dealer that will give you good car give you good deal . Not highly recommended

I purchased a Nissan Qashqai.The car was really nicely presented when delivered to my home. It had no service or user manual,and no locking wheel nut key. I rang customer services and they said there was a wheel nut key when it left their premises almost calling me a liar.They didn’t offer to get me one.It cost me £35 to order one from Nissan. They sent a service book and user manual out that did not have Nissan Qashqai printed on them.The service book did not have their service stamp in it. It cost me £48 from Nissan to replace.

First time at motor range and was looking for something very specific. Finally found my gorgeous new c class and went ahead with the purchase. salesmen were superb and not pushy at all which is a big turn off for me. The whole process was a joy, very friendly, knowledgeable and free drinks on a hot day is always a bonus. Traded my little Abarth with no hassle at all...all in all I would recommend these guys if your in the market for a new motor.

Had a finance car from motor range since 2015. Numerous bad experiences but tied into paying for the car. They don’t care unless your getting a car from them and once you do, they don’t care to even email you back when you need help, advice or a question. Refer a friend.. still waiting for my money. And was persuaded to get a car I couldn’t afford and unable to change it. Just a really terrible place and I can’t wait to go elsewhere!
