AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! I brought a car from here in August 2023. At first we were happy with the service, pleased with how the staff treated us but from then on it went downhill (putting it politely) after being told it has 3 independent checks and that the car was perfect and nothing wrong with it I continued with the purchase. I noticed when I got it home the air con wasnt working, they told us a day and time to go back and they will fix it, we drove an hour there to be told actually the man isnt there that day and to come back another day so had to drive an hour home. We also spoke to one of the mechanics about the gear box making a funny noise when in 3rd and 4th gear, we were told in that car it was normal to do that and not to worry. After driving it back from Wales visiting family the car was making a funny noise so I took it to a garage that I have used for years, within 20 minutes they came out and said the car was unfit for purpose and advised me to take it back, they found at least 6 issues one major one being the head gasket, the noise in the gearbox that we were told was normal was infact the diffs going in it which isnt normal as we were told. I rang NCH and explained that I wanted a refund on the car as we had lost confidence in it, they said they have at least 1 chance to fix the car and then if they can't they will refund, they gave me a courtesy car which was a skip on wheels, it was dirty with grass and dirt hanging off it, smelt like weed inside, half the wing mirror missing, crunched when going into 5th gear. I was told this car was prepped for the managers daughter (yeah right!) If it wasn't for me constantly emailing and asking for updates I would never have heard a word from them, 7 weeks go by with at least 4 times of them saying I will be getting it back by the end of the week! They eventually said they fixed it and would be with me on a Thursday, Thursday came and went to be then told actually no it'll be Friday now, had an email to say they were leaving the garage and within an hour I had a call to say the car had broken down on the way back to me! I told them I wanted a refund as I'd had enough "yeah that's fine, money will be in your account by the end of the week" end of the week came with no word, it wasn't until my partner rang that they said because we paid part card part cash that it had caused an issue (didn't ring to tell us though) then said it would be in by 11am Tuesday again nothing, so partner rang again, this went on for a couple of weeks, they eventually transferred the money except £50 apparently for a v5 holding fee, never ever heard of that! We point blank refused to give the courtesy car back until we had all the money back! We had to wait about a month for the £50 which was eventually given in cash when someone picked the car up, I threatened legal action as it was getting ridiculous. Looking at reviews this isn't the first Time it's happened to people and won't be the last! Avoid this place at all costs if you value your sanity and mental health! The fact they lied to me and my partner multiple times is disgusting, saying the car was perfect with no issues knowing full well it was for a family makes me sick, i travel back and forth to Wales with my 5 year old daughter, that car could have given up at any point on the motorway with her in there makes me so angry. This car was brought 19.08.23 and we only received the last £50 on 27.12.23! Giving 1 star annoys me because quite frankly its 1 star too many. Luckily the place I got my new car from were amazing. They genuinely couldn't believe what this company put us through. How this place is still trading baffles me, they are cowboys and just want your money, they don't care about anything else! I cannot stress this enough.....AVOID!!!

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent purchase of a Jaguar XF from your National Car Hub. Within the first day of acquiring the vehicle, my experience was marred by a series of issues, including dashboard notifications for low DEF fluid, key battery issues, the need for service, and malfunctioning ABS system. Subsequently, I reached out to the aftersales manager and returned the car to address these concerns. Regrettably, the level of service I received as a concerned customer was even below average. The interactions with the aftersales team have left me dissatisfied and frustrated. As a customer who expected a smooth and pleasant experience, I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention. If the reputation and success of your esteemed company are important to you, I urge you to review the performance and customer service standards within your team, especially the sales manager. It is crucial to address these issues promptly to maintain the trust and satisfaction of your customers. I believe in the potential of your company and hope that corrective measures will be taken to rectify this situation. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.

I bought a DS 4 earlier this year (2023), and had a disastrous experience. Faults started becoming apparent in a couple of days, culminating in a series of in-car alerts 10 days later when at 70mph on the motorway, showing me faults with the ESC, ABS brakes, parking brake and others too quick for me to read, with various fault lights appearing on the instrument panel. I reported these to the dealer who agreed to pay me to have a fault disagnosis performed at an independent local service centre. I did that the following day, and the diagnosis showed countless major faults, making the vehicle in their opinion unsafe to drive and unrepairable. I exercised my right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for a full refund from the dealership, plus consequential costs. They reluctantly agreed, and paid partial refunds over a period of weeks, but they prevaricated every which they could with delays, lies and feigned ignorance to avoid refunding me the full amount. I ended up opening an official claim through the county courts following which they promptly paid me what I was owed, A thoroughly horrible experience throughout.

Worst experience I think you could ever encounter. Bought a car outright from them as we had been speaking to them beforehand for a while back and forth. Everything seem to be legit and fine, but I was completely wrong! After being met by a man named Paul who has assured me the car had been fully serviced before buying and seemed fine I took for a test drive. When driving it I see a light come up saying needs a service, he assured me it was just because it was just done so hadn’t been changed on the dashboard. Went in the back and sorted it, it come off. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about so believed him. Anyway went through with the sale and then him and his colleague went on to say about selling my car that I had as it was run down and sell to them for parts. He didn’t come up with a good enough price but had said to me about we buy any car was up the road and was a good service so to go there. Talked a great game and just made you feel you were in safe hands, so I did this. I sold my car that same day as I bought the one off them. I drive home (baring in mind I love 2.5 hours away) and after 30 miles the engine overheated, I pulled up at a garage and see that my coolant was empty. So I bought some coolant and thought that should be it, I was a bit surprised as I thought surely this should of been done before buying the car from a trusted company but I tried to let it slide. Drove another 6 miles and the coolant had completely emptied and I broke down! Dragged it into a services station and the company was shut. Luckily I had AA so I called them. Took them 5 hours to get out to me at this point it was early hours in the morning and they had told me the head gasket had gone and there was no way that wouldn’t of come up on their service records. He basically said I had been mugged off and taken for granted. So once they was open I had to deal with the after sales team. Pheobe who is the manager is the most incompetent person I think i have ever spoken to. She promised a full refund back and all the money I had spent on parking to keep it at the services but still have not received a penny. This was the 15th July. The lies she has told has been unreal and I am taking them to trading standards

Please be warned! Brought a white ford c max da15mzy with black alloys, the day we had it we had heater issue, battery died 5 days after having it ( they agreed to pay for battery to be fitted on drive, however this took well over a month of nagging) followed by seatbelt tear in rear ( not failure) followed by noise on front, black coolent bottle, tyre needed doing, disc and pads not sorted has stated. I had this car taken to halford for safety check and my garage how told me to take it back it could cost hundreds. The car was finally collected by them and a courtesy car supplied ( which was disgraceful, bold tyres so could use at all. My car went in for 4 new tyres, they scratched all around the rim of my black alloys three of which were ruined! They failed to fix seatbelt, they didn't fix heater has they has said, and told me the noise on front was rust. So worried about safety of car I had my garage provide me with report about issues, stating noise on front was clutch and need new clutch kit! And heater not fixed and causing heating issues in engine, a headgasket failing. Confirmed they damaged three alloys, and seat belt not fixed. I'm disgusted with the service the girls are polite and all but nothing was done, they said they get back to me many times and didn't. The whole experience has cause me mental health problems and requiring medication. I'm left without a car for transport my disabled daughter around. Luckily I had car ha finance and finance company have helped me take it back, Im awaiting deposits back which I've no doubt I will need to chase. Worst experience buying a car I have ever had. I would not recommend them at all. And I hope of Ur reading this u will proceed with caution. My experience has scared me. I'm so nervous about getting another car.

Bought what looked like a lovely VW CC in March 2023. DPF light was on when we looked at it and was assured it would be dealt with properly before we purchased the vehicle, obviously we were concerned as that is not what you want to see when purchasing a used car. Also completely Bald spare tyre which is illegal for an MOT, said they would replace it, So 1st April we went to pick the car up. But we asked for a test drive before we went any further as there was no fuel in it on the day we looked at it and wanted to make sure the DPF light was off and there was no other lights on the dash etc. We also found the car had suddenly got small dents on the drivers door, deep scratch and dent on the rear nearside door and all 4 alloys curbed, So we said we were not paying for the car as it was not what we saw previously, They were not happy that we wanted the Deposit back. We were going to walk away as already it appeared this company just wanted your money, we had been trying to get in contact with them for over a week to see when we could collect the car but nobody answered calls or emails. This vehicle was £10k so not cheap for an 8 year old car but as it had low mileage and it was a reasonable conditon at the time of viewing, we felt it would serve our needs. God we were so wrong!!!! After some discussions and deliberation we took ownership of the car. We had 28 days free warranty (not worth written on the paper) so we then found a wheel wobble at 50-60mph so took it to Kwik Fit to get tyres checked and wheels balanced, We were told that there was a buckle in the Front nearside alloy and no weights on the wheel itself and also there was a very old cracked tyre on the nearside rear. How did this pass the MOT one now asks! So we decided the wheel/tyre issues needed to be dealt with as a matter of urgency and paid to get them sorted. Couple of days later couldnt start vehicle and called RAC out, the battery was dead so had to spend £150 on a new one. So then off we go down the M5 and then the steering wheel becomes a living nightmare almost uncontrollable and we managed to pull over to the hard shoulder, dont know how we got there tbh, we found the brake caliper had seized on. RAC had to come out to release it to enable us to get off the Motorway, We then had to go to a garage to get a new brake caliper fitted at a cost of £171!! to continue our journey, plus call out fee of £40 to the RAC. So then the Engine Light came on whilst on our homeward journey, now diagnosed as a blocked/damaged EGR Valve, So another £850 at VW costs to put it right and also more money to change rear brake pads as they are very very low. We honestly can't see what 28 days warranty could offer let alone asking customers to PAY £600 for a Warranty document. We have spent somewhere in the region of £11k on this vehicle now and its only worth £8085, this company need to be dealt with by Trading Standards, VOSA, etc etc. This vehicle was not roadworthy and should not have been on the road dread to think what other vehicles as like. VOSA need to visit their MOT garage and this dealership as a matter of urgency. 0 stars would be my rating.

Review for National Car Hub Aldridge West Midlands. I saw an add in a well known car add place online, it was for a Renault Captur. I phoned up National Car Hub, who were selling the car, and agreed reluctantly to take £10,000 for my Electric car, (I believed it was worth a lot more) and placed a deposit of £500. After two and a half weeks of phone calls made by me, I finely had a collection day, and arranged insurance, and someone to stay with my wife, (she was not very well) I spoke to the sales man, Mr Page, the day before, and said, as I had 225 miles to travel to them, I hoped there would be no problems, and they would not mess me about, he said, "we are a reputable company, and don't do things like that" I said I would arrive in Aldridge around midday. Next morning I got up at 4am and left at 5am, I charged 3 times on the way up and arrived at 11.30 I wiped the Bluetooth phone memory, and went into the building, (I could not see the Renault outside) I was asked to sit and wait, after half an hour I noticed a grey haired man at a desk, so went up to him and asked if he was Mr. Page, he said he was, and we introduced ourselves, I asked where the car was, and he said, "In the workshop" I said you told me it was ready, he said that they were just giving it a final clean, I said that I had a long drive home, and could we do the paperwork so I could get going, he got a young lady to get me a coffee and said that I would have to deal with another person who was the handover man, and to please sit and wait, a few minutes later he came and asked me for the keys to the EV, I said shell I come with you to check it over, he said no, it has to go to the workshop, it is just a formality, I said OK, but I would like to get sorted and on my way home, he said wont be long now. After another long wait, a young man came up to me and said his name was Paul, and we shook hands, he sat opposite me and looked very worried, I said can we conclude the deal please, I want to go home, he said I think that there is a problem with the car, I said "you are joking, I was told it was ready" he said, I mean with your EV, I said what is wrong with the EV, I know of nothing, it has a full service history and is in A1 condition, he said "but it is an Electric Car, I said, so, you knew it was an Electric Car, he said but we are not going to take your car, and got up and walked away. Well, I EXPLODED, I shouted, is this Candid Camera, no one answed, I went up to Mr, Page and said "What the hell is going on" he would not look at me, and said, "it has nothing to do with me, I became apoplectic, and started swearing a lot, and said I wanted to see a manager or someone in charge, as there were a lot of other customers in the room, and they were all looking at me, they ushered me to a glass walled office, where there was a man who said he was in charge, I said what the heck are you people playing at, I'm nearly 75 are you trying to give me a heart attack, you knew that my car was an EV two and a half weeks ago, I was very emotional and on the verge of tears, I phoned my wife, who burst into tears and kept saying "why are they doing this to us". I think that the man in the office was the owner of the establishment, Mr Ahmed, who was very unsympathetic, and just said, we don't want your car, please just leave, I said I want my £500 back, he went to his computer, then gave me a Debit Card receipt which he said was a refund of the deposit. (which I now have) As I left the office, I stopped in the middle of the room and said, "I apologise ladies for my very bad language, but I am very distressed" I was ushered out of the building, and I said where is my car, the man said "we will bring it round when we are ready, a few minutes later the car arrived, a man got out and chucked me the keys, I went to the car and saw that the mats were covered in black greasy marks, I tried to shake some of it off, I parked the car in a space, then I did break down in tears, after I pulled myself together, I reprogrammed the Bluetooth for my phone, and then rang the insurance company and asked them to cancel the insurance on the Renault and reinsure my EV, I am insured with the AA and pointed out that there were signs all around saying that this car sales place was recommend by the AA and that one was in good hands with them, that this was a good place to buy a car, I asked the young man on the phone how he thought I had been treated, he said he was disgusted by what they had done to me. I charged three times more on the way home, total cost £76, EV's are now more expensive to run than ICE cars, I got home at 9pm, total 16 very distressing hours, this will be a ONE Star review.

In September 2022, I bought a blue Vauxhall corsa from National Car Hub.I can now say it was the best car I’ve ever bought not only for the excellent quality of the car, but the exceptional customer service from both sales and aftersales. I placed a reservation fee over the phone to take the car off the market until I came to have a look the next day and I absolutely fell in love with the car.I decided to go ahead and after 7 days, the car was ready to collect. The handover was perfect and they showed me things I didn’t even know I could do with the car. After 4 months within purchase,we ran into a slight problem with was sorted out quickly by the lovely Aftersales woman.I’d like to say a massive thank you to sales and aftersales for being the most genuine and patient staff I’ve ever spoke to!
