Believe it or not my experience getting my car was not as straight forward as first thought. However this was no fault of pinewood autos. I spent 3 hours waiting for my funds to be released to pinewoods account from a finance company. I normally would of been furious if not for the professional tenacity shown by Martin Duncan who's efforts made the difference between me driving off in my new car yesterday. I contacted Pinewood Autos via their website and was impressed to receive a phone call just minutes later. We arranged a viewing for the following morning where I was greeted by a warm welcome and introduced to Martin why I had dealt with on the phone. The whole experience from viewing the car to driving it away that day was smooth and efficient. Would highly recommend.
I have bought a Honda Civic with Pinewood Autos a month ago, they were fairly nice during the process but I did mention at the time that the vehicle's last service had been over a year ago and so if they were going to service it before delivering the car to me and they replied even though was more than one year it would make no sense to service a car that had just done 2000 miles (made me feel stupid for asking but I was in fact stupid to have bought that) because as I just learned, as the car is not complying with the yearly manufacturer service plan, the warranty is no valid... so basically, to buy a car with no warranty, having to do a service straight away and having no real peace of mind, I should have saved myself some money and bought a car from a private seller...

For the record we have been in touch with Jorge and have serviced his car free of charge. The part-timer he dealt with on the day was correct in saying it had only been serviced 2000 miles ago, however we have since serviced the car again for complete peace of mind. All you have to do is ask, there is no need to leave a bad review when a simple phone call will yield better results for everyone involved. We hope Jorge is now completely happy and look forward to seeing him edit this review.

Bought a Ford Ranger from Pinewood Autos that wasn’t theirs to sell, had outstanding Finance of £31k. Took them to Magistrates and won. Simply Avoid

I brought a seat Leon cupra from them which had faulty injectors, long story short, it needed a new engine. Martin replaced the engine, but it was not the correct type ( cheaper block). He said it was from a 68000 mile car but could not give me any evidence on what car it came from. I managed to prove the engine was not the same and only after I threatened to take them to standing standards, they gave me a refund for the car. Agreed, Martin will say anything to worm his way out of things. And I never did get to meet his so called boss.
Swapped my kia ceed which was a lovely car but not for me with a Honda Jazz, friendly service without being pushy. Jazz is as described although 1000 miles difference between advertised and actual mileage. I don’t think this was deliberate though. I lost my paperwork and Martin very kindly mailed me some copies. Hope you sell Ceed soon - looks great in ad, Many thanks to everyone at Pinewood Autos. Kate.

Having left a holding fee to look at a Ford B Max a few days later, we were called by Pinewood Autos to be informed the car seemed to of been damaged by a combine harvester!!! and there was no point in coming as it would not be possible to sell it. Having checked on DVLA a few days after this, low and behold it has been taxed. Previously it had been sorn. Hmmmm makes us think they had actually sold the car to someone else. Would of preferred the truth but obviously just another lying used car sales dealership. Wont bother looking at anything else here or recommend anyone bothering. Totally unimpressed.

After the incident with the farm machinery in our compund (not sure if it was a combine), we sold the car to a local trader as we did not want to take on the bodywork. For you to cast aspersions and accuse us of lying to you is very unfair. It's our trade that always gets a bad name and we do our best to overcome this sort of stereotype, but when we're open and honest and instead of trying to fix it and sell it to you we were upfront and refunded your deposit immediately. The fact that we get a one-star review as a result of these circumstances is typical. We hope that you can see sense and give us another chance in the future.
Bought my car from Pinewood Autos, could not be more helpful. Even reopened garage when we realised we had left stuff behind. We had read some of the reviews about this garage, but went anyway to see the car. Had no problems with anything, very helpful.
