As a Motability customer I booked a test drive for 10.00am . Arrived at showroom and informed by the salesman he had been double booked and was dealing with a handover ! Said he would be 2 minutes, after half an hour he informed us that he would still be 2 minutes. Bearing also in mind that not once had he put on a face mask while dealing with customers ! My wife complained to another of the salesmen when he approached us to see if we were being dealt with. He then proceeded to go out in the car he had just handed over with the customer still without a mask. At that point I went to inform the salesperson that I would not be staying for the test drive as it was putting myself and my wife at risk. The fact that she had already had Covid earlier in the year I was certainly not going to let her or myself be put at risk. I really find it amazing to see the lack of cleanliness that we had witnessed from that individual and also that none of his colleagues had said anything to him as they themselves were fully masked.

Bought my Seat Ibiza from the Stoke Branch and have nothing but good things to say about the sale, the help we got both with advice and the preparation of the car prior to pick up. I would like to thank Tony Mckittrick for a seamless transaction in which he was involved throughout. The dealership and Tony would definitely be our first port of call if we decide to change again. Had a number of issues at this SEAT I would definitely recommend not using them, simply go to another SEAT, I can't explain the amount of issues I have had it's just easier to go to another SEAT all together avoid like the plague! I even made a complaint and nothing was done about that as there complaints process are dealt with internal to the branch and you can't escalate the matter because no one really cares. Be wise and go more towards Birmingham I've found them to be alot more helpful. Never got given a log book with the vehicle, couldn't tax my car because I never got given the log book and purchased the car with nail clippings In the side compartments that's summarised, I could go into alot more detail but really don't want to waste my Time, just trying to help others, wouldn't be surprised if this review got removed either...

I am a Motability customer and have had probably the worst service I have ever received from a car dealership in nearly 40 years of driving! I signed up for a Seat Ateca on the 27th of October 2020 and paid a £500 deposit to allegedly secure the vehicle. On the 8th of February 2021, just 7 weeks before I was due to pick the car up, I was told that the factory had refused the order as they were no longer making the engine I had requested. Trying to get my £500 deposit back has been nothing short of farcical. I was told by sales advisor (Dean) that I had to get it back from motability. When I told him that was wrong, he then changed direction and said that I needed to go through their finance department. I again said that was wrong, and unbelievably, he said that he couldn't find any record of my payment and that it was up to me to provide proof that I had made the payment! I have spoken today to a Senior Sales Advisor called Tony who sorted my refund out. Apart from Tony, an absolute shambles of a dealership.

Purchased a 68 plate Seat Leon car over lockdown and was unable to see the car prior to purchase. I did ask for videos, but didn't get one - I'd already seen videos of another so knew what the car looked like, so didn't think to much of it. Was told that if I didn't like the car for whatever reason, they have a 30 day NO QUIBLE returns - brilliant. Equally told the car was immaculate and had no issues. The sale was quick - barely had time to decide whether I wanted it on 3 or 4 year finance. The car arrived the next day. Working from home, I had a very brief look at the car and signed the relevant paperwork and back to work I go. Unfortunately with COVID symptons shortly after I couldn't drive the car until results back. After the first drive I realised there was a large chip on the bonnet and emailed them to see what they can do. No reply, called them, passed onto the car dealership it originated from (different dealership selling the car due to furloughed staff), passed back onto the salesman who then said he'll sort it. Nothing came about until further phone calls who then came to the conclusion that they would send a paint pen - like this is going to do anything. Shame about the lack of service or support post-purchase. Lovely car and would be very happy without the large chip. Recommend the car, wouldn't recommend the dealerships - Wolverhampton Seat and Crew Skoda.

Brought a Seat Arona in 2018. Brilliant car which i have been very pleased with. However the service receptionist gave me false information about the service plan i paid for and trying to get anyone from this dealership to sort it out has been a massive headache. Zero customer service. No replies to emails. No telephone calls when they say they will call you back. Afraid it's a case of once they have your money they do not give a dame. If you want to be let down, made to feel like mug give these guys a go they are very good at it.

UPDATE Spoke to David Barlow Director of Barlow Motors who tried to escalate my complaint with VW financial services but in his words " hit a brick wall ". He also questioned this review saying that it was not accurate and unfair on Barlow Motors. Well David Barlow shame on you. You were quick enough to take my £20,000 but not prepared to fork out £100 to put things right. Just goes to show what kind of company you are running and how much you value your customers.
Called up on Friday morning, booked in an appointment to view a car on the Sunday morning with Jason, recieved a confirmation and video message in the meantime. Drive over 1 hour to get to the dealership only to be told it's Jason's day off... Then we're told the car was "sold a couple of days ago" with nobody informing us, yet the car still being advertised on seat approved AND autotrader... Accepting the fact, we agreed to look at other similar cars, multiple times we were told about cars that were exactly right for us, but "oh wait that one sold last night". This dealer needs to seriously consider the level of service they're providing as they're representing Seat as a brand...

On the 24th September 2019 I paid a £100 fully refundable reserve fee to Barlow Motors in Stoke. Today 16th October 2019 and still waiting for refund. Full of promises in reality cannot be trusted. Let's hope the bank can get the money back. Think before you part with your hard earned cash. Their word means absolutely nothing.

I bought a car in January but last night I had a mechanical fault and had to have break down service. This morning I took the car back and was upset because I was going to a funeral. They offered to take me and fetch me back but I was too upset to go. I explained I'd got a busy week with considerable appointments. They have made arrangements for me to attend all my appointments. I will always recommend this company for their efficient and caring service.
