When I visited some time ago, I arranged to buy a Audi A4 Estate, got the money out and was about 20 minutes away when they text and said 'car sold'. When I arrived, as I still needed a car. I was looking at a Honda Accord, and they just wouldn't shut up with their sales banter between them. They pretended to have a conversation about how good the car was and it was so mind numbing that I couldn't even check the MOT on my phone. I asked for a test drive, and they said only in the industrial estate, as they 'have an agreement with the police'. I said I want a proper test drive and they totally refused. I said I'd leave it then and the father totally changed. He said he only sells cars to 'proper people' and that I should trust him. He got very very aggressive and in my face. I reported him to Autotrader where the Audi and Honda were listed, but they just said they'd make a note of it despite him being a real risk to customers. Bought a Rover 75 v6 from Shotton Part Exchange, its an excellent car and not a bad price drives like new.

Bought a car from this place and I wish I never drove home the oil light and engine management light came on took it to a garage and they told me the head gasket has gone took it back to shotton car ex they took it in said they fixed it but when I got it back and driving home the same thing happened took it to a well known garage and the main dealer both said head gasket and have gave me a report I phoned shotton car ex and they are refusing to fix it and refusing to give money back The only thing I can do now is take them to court to get my money back. THIS IS A SHOCKING CAR COMPANY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE YOU WILL GET A GOOD CAR THAT WILL LAST SHOTTONS CARS LOOK NICE AND CLEAN BUT I THINK THEY ARE NOT HOW THEY APPEAR JUDGING ON MY PURCHASE.

I found the car at Shotton Part Exchange Centre to be excellent value for money.
