I bought a VW convertible from this company and found them very helpful and accomodating. I also found they like biscuits so help them our and when you buy a car from them buy them nice buscuits.

I found a "bargain" BMW online which was cheaper than anything in my area (Manchester). After calls and emails of pictures, I made a decision to purchase pending a test drive. I traveled to Peterborough and found the car to be needing 2 new rear tryes (£240 a corner for run flats) and a service due in 1.5k (BMW major service); all was not disclosed when specific questions had been asked prior to my journey (3 hrs). I still took the vehicle as the value was such that these repairs would still be cheaper than a car near me. Driving home, engine warning light. Dealer said take to garage to fix in my area and they will pay. They did! Read on: Second problem within 10 days. BMW garage said car was a dud. £1k to repair. Stanground not willing to sort out. Wouldn't accept vehicle back. Only offered to fix it at my expense of travelling back in an un-driveable car. Got trading standards involved. Long stand off. Eventually agreed to pay half only. Awful after care. Do not deal.

Bought a VW Touareg, parking brake stuck on way home, emailed no response several times, despite care being under warranty. Despite their HPI check car had been in an accident, emailed no reply. Now cannot MOT CAR as headlamp damaged and cannot be adjusted despit £399 spent at VW to repair enough to change bulb, £350 spent on fixing the parking brake. Exhaust gas recirculation pipe had been welded and blew taking the exhaust manifold with it another £1000 no response at all. Now going to small claims court. Would avoid these people at all costs
