I would laugh out loud if it wasn't so bad. Pre- booked a test drive with this company. As we had called in person to make the booking, salesman on the day said he would be on a day off and introduced us to a colleague he said would take care of us. He was friendly and polite. Arrived bang on time on the day and was kept waiting for a considerable time to be told the salesman we had been booked in with was now busy with another Customer and so would have to be taken on the test by another colleague. This Salesman was intrusive and overbearing to say the least. He sounded desperate and every car we looked at told us that it suited us. He tried to dissuade us from test driving the model we had gone to see. He His approach could best be described as 'flip-floppy'. We had booked to drive two models but had second thoughts following his 'killer' question. 'Are you paying by cash or finance?' When I said 'cash' I was astounded at his response. His voice dropped as it reverberated 'oh, he sighed... On a budget then?' How dare he make such assumptions about my finances? The irony, surely needing finance would suggest a tighter budget than being able to pay outright? Not in the topsy turvey world with "right" being the new 'wrong.' I have never felt so insulted in a showroom as I did by this man. His assumptive arrogance was breathtaking. I get it. His bonus would not be as lucrative with a cash buyer. He tried to put us off looking at more expensive cars telling me it would be cheaper if I looked at models. I stared in disbelief. 'Its not about the money..." I said. He offered to show us the second vehicle and asked if we minded driving a second hand one. This told us how valued we were to them as new customers and what they thought of us. Needless to say, we cut the visit short and decided not to waste anymore of our time or His. The sweetest irony, we were there to buy two cars not one! Will now be taking our real money to another dealership big enough to accommodate cash customers.

Stoneacre Peterborough were overly helpful in order to get a sale, and made all the right noises....until I had an issue. Car came with manual and service record missing when I collected. I was assured that they would sort it out and send the documents on to me.....that didn't happen! After countless ignored emails and phone calls I was told I would have to wait until they got another car the same as mine in and that they would then take the documents from that car to send to me....hardly professional! This however didn't happen and I was forced to visit the branch over and over again. Finally, after nearly 10 months after purchasing my car I received what was missing, no apology, and a manager that was conveniently "not available" when I asked to speak to him. They are very good at making the right noises....until they have your money, and then thy just don't seem bothered! Would NOT recommend this Stoneacre branch in Peterborough on Newark Road to anyone! Awful experience!
