I definitely do not recommend and would stay away from this place at all costs! I made a mistake and did not read the reviews before buying. I did not even have the car a day and there were already problems. There is a reason these scammers sell cheap cars. The cars are broken, they do not repair them and have their garage next door do a fake MOT. They tell you they have fixed and serviced the car when that is all a lie. I would not believe a word these people tell you and I’d advise you to do an MOT at a different garage after buying a car from there because there will be a list of things that need done to the car. I done an MOT at a private garage because the car broke after I got home. The owner insinuated that I was lying because the car already had a clean MOT so there shouldn’t be anything wrong with it. After a whole list of things that needed to be repaired came out on the MOT the owner refused to repair the car, took it back and I received a refund. I was lucky that I paid with a credit card and the money was protected by the bank, however I think that it would have been much harder to get my money back if I paid with cash. The owner is now selling this car again and I do not believe he has repaired it, he probably gave it to the same garage that done the fake MOT in the first place. I would never buy from here again!

Please listen when I say do not use DUNWAY LTD to buy a car! They sold my 18 year old daughter her first car, with a “years mot” yet the car had a bald tyre, broken spring, and no hand break! The car has been checked by vosa who confirm the MOT is not legitimate! The mot garage was BURNETT & CO, which is across the road from Dunway, very convenient I’d say!!!! I have reported these fraudsters to NORTH LANARKSHIRE trading standards and licensing board!!!!! Please everyone else join me and get this mans licence taken off him before he kills one of us, or worse one of our children!!!!!!

You'd think that after 54 years of buying cars, I wouldn't let myself be 'Sucked In' to buying from a 'BACKSTREET DEALER! ....Duh !! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER ! Anything that appears to be too good to be true probably is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE !! Apart from having to replace the front left 'Shock Absorber and Mount' which I didn't detect on a test drive, the car I bought 'Seems' to be fundamentaly sound. (I clearly didn't drive over enough Pot Holes) Rather than trying to get this fixed under the 'FREE' warranty Dunway provide (I couldn't be bothered with the hastle), I decided to entrust this repair and further assessment of the car to a REPUTABLE mechanic. There remains however, what I think must be a fairly minor problem for any competent car dealership's mechanics; a 'STUCK' glovebox which seems to be beyond Dunway cars ability to resolve. They offered to send some screws Mmm!!! Various telephone conversation promises of a solution have proved to be what I have should have expected! DUNWAY CARS don't care after they've got your money, and probably don't have a clue! AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I don't believe that these people have any scruples or ethics. Quelle Surprise!

Liam and Andy are the biggest crooks in the business. I met them through car finance 247 who claimed they only used reputable dealers. So I thought I was safe in their hands. What a mistake that was! It is now almost 12 months and I still don’t have a resolution. The mot centre clearly passed it illegally as it had no advisories but everything that was on the previous MOT came to be a problem after just 300 miles and 3 weeks of driving. They knowingly handed over a death trap to a disabled woman whose only dream was to have some good independence with her wheelchair while she can. After 1 week, the engine management light came on. I took it to a local garage and it had multiple fault codes to do with almost every aspect of the car. I was advised to take the car off the road and report to VOSA, which I did. Then it took several weeks to get it towed up there. They had it for several weeks, called me a f^%}king Asshole for no good reason and insisted no repair was necessary and that there was nothing wrong with it. So several weeks later it gets towed back to me and after just a couple more hundred miles, a shock absorber shattered and a local garage Made it very clear to me that the corrosion to the breaks and shock absorbers made the car unsafe to drive and advised to get the car rejected or back to the dealer for repair. This was in January and now they are going back on their word to repair the vehicle at all. The car was bought to take an electric wheelchair. But they don’t care, I am still wrestling with the finance company and the abuse ive received by Liam was intimidating and totally uncalled for. Avoid at all cost. Thanks for stealing 12 months of my 4 years left on this planet and giving me 12 months of grief and no car to show for it!
