Avoid these crooks like the plague

Difficult to sum up what these cowboys did. Car not serviced and after going back to them, still had faults. Part of sub - chasis broke. Could have been serious accident. Two new front tyres needed. Needs rear break pads and discs replaced. Exhaust hanging on with rubber bush. New exhaust needed. Coolant still leaking. Rear tyre losing air. I will be taking this shambles further.

DUNWAY CARS MAKING MONEY EVERY WEEK BY MISREPRESENTING CARS AND TAKING ‘FULLY REFUNDABLE’ DEPOSITS BUT WHEN YOU SEE THE SCRAP CARS HE SELLS WITH FAKE MOT’S AND ASK FOR YOUR DEPOSIT BACK HE REFUSES AND MOVES TO INTIMIDATION AND AGGRESSION. Fantastic experience. Seen a car on AutoTrader, enquired about it, 5* communication throughout from liam, he even arranged to meet me at Glasgow central to take to the car dealership. paper work was 15mins. No hidden extras or fees or hassle, totally transparent throughout. Finally i met the owner andy car had little fuel in , he pulls out some money, shows me how to get to the near by fuel station. (2mins) He and liam both a cracking set of guys with good banter! absolute pleasure lads.

Easy to deal with, had a few teething problems, but were resolved. would buy from this seller again

We bought this car when I was pregnant being told we would never sell an unsafe car to a pregnant women blah blah ! Turns out this car is very dangerous and should have never passed the MOT - we have reported Dunway cars to trading standards and the MOT centre to the DVSA. Do not buy your car from this garage. When I called them - I had a screaming man swearing at me down the phone. “Why did I buy an old BMW” Strange thing for an owner of the car dealership to be saying to me that sell second hand cars..... I wish I had read all these reviews before buying a death trap that has had our newborn in.

bad man and bad attitude - proved the car was faulty and didnt want to prove it or hardly refund a deposit... got it in the end THANKFULLY never bought it from this absolute 2 bit nothing - this guy would give you stress unnecessarily because of his lack of respect to customers - WALK AWAY....and his mot garage pals across the road turned out to be not much better... i hear... LOL! adios amigos - 1 step ahead of this guy!

Well me and my mum went over to see a car here at dunway cars that had been advertised on motors.co.uk and thought will have a look seen one other car the same at another garage and then went to have a look fell in love with it wasn't until we paid the money and got car back it started with a problem with brakes took it back they replaced with new discs and pads and travelled an hour to get there and now 3 weeks on it's been in my local garage for a check as whistling coming from front wheel for my garage to tell me there was 6 other problems that need sorted and when contacting this joke of a garage they started shouting and being abusive down the phone to my mum and tried to blame me for hitting a pot hole yeah right dream on!!!! one pot hole did all that damage stay clear of this place and there garage across the road that does m o t s they just quickly look over it and do the odd bit then say yeah all fine they are all cowboys Andy and Liam not nice people only want your money and then when they get it and you go back to them with a problem or problems in my case they are abusive STAY CLEAR!!!!!

I purchased a car from Dunway Cars with the promise that the mot was complete. The mot seemed to have "missed" that the rear suspension had broken. Evident it had happened some time ago as the spring was rusty at the point of breakage. Took to local mot centre whom support the idea that a dougie mot had been carried out. Called and got nothing but abuse and shouting through the phone. Will be contacting trading standards.
