Worst car buying experience EVER! They are an absolute waste of time and money! Not professional at all! This nightmare started on 3rd of July 2025 when we have financed a Tesla Model X long range 2020 in black with the reg number LG70XAV. After the finance was approved I have been asked for £1000 deposit for the car to be removed from Autotrader. I have paid that without asking any questions. The following day I asked for some more pictures and a video of the car as the photos on Autotrader were very poor quality. Only then to find out that they don’t even have the car yet!!! Basically they have posted a car on Autotrader and on their website that it was not physically in their possession yet! I wasn’t happy at all with that but they didn’t seem to care at all, telling me that the car will arrive in a few days. The car came a week later on 10th of July and the following steps were to valet it, check it over for any problems and do an MOT. It took them another week, when they rang me on 17th of July to let me know that the car needs an arm on the front suspension and they have ordered that from Tesla and was due to arrive on 22nd of July. I have accepted all these lies and weeks after weeks of waiting. Another week passed and they rang me saying that they have changed the arm but now the car has another problem, it doesn’t recognise the key and it needs to go to Tesla for the key to be reprogrammed. After another week, they said the key is done but it needs to be checked by Tesla for some other suspension problems. At this point I couldn’t make the difference anymore from whatever was the truth and the lies. Again, like an idiot I have accepted to wait for the car. In the end, everything looked ok for the car to be collected on 7th of August after 5 weeks of waiting and lies after lies from Gary and Sophie and all the others that been dealing with this. 7th of August early in the morning left Wales with my wife and our son for a 3.5 hour drive and 170 miles to Loughborough Motorline direct. Got there at 10:30 am and we’ve been told by Sophie I suppose that they are just finishing off valeting the car. They probably didn’t have time 5 weeks to valet it. We have waited an hour and a half til 12pm to bring the car over to the front. And when they have finally brought it, the £30k car I have been waiting 5 weeks for, was clearly not valeted as it was full of dust everywhere inside. And moreover, the car had no mirror case on the left. And Gary acted like nothing happened and everything was absolutely normal. Ah, it happened yesterday he said and we ordered to come to Tesla. But no one thought to ring me to let me know. After more checks on the car, I found that the seat behind the driver doesn’t slide forward to give you access to the last row of seats, the car having 7 seats. Again, he was acting like this is normal and nothing wrong with the seat. Even tried to tell me that you only go in the last row only from the left side, like it was a bus. After that he admitted that he doesn’t really know with tesla but they are selling them constantly. Not a single time he said sorry because the car was a mess. A 30k car that was not fit for the purpose. I didn’t buy it in the end but they didn’t seem to care a bit as as soon as we left, the car went back online available for sale shockingly with a price increased by £1700 minutes after we left. From £29800 to £31500. With a broken rear seats motor and no mirror housing. What a joke of a dealer! What an absolute waste of space! So be careful if you want to buy a car from these jokers that most likely they don’t even have the car you’re buying yet! I’d stay well away from them if you don’t want to go through what I’ve been!

Bought a Mercedes E350 4matic cabriolet and was pleased with the car and the service given. The car was beautifully clean when collected and a faulty light that developed after a few days was totally replaced under warranty but had to take the car back for this.. Very pleasant staff and a good cup of coffee available.

I had a frustrating experience with Motorline Direct. After agreeing to part exchange a vehicle over the phone, I paid a deposit, only to be told by Gary that he had mistakenly agreed on a different vehicle. This seems like a very clumsy way to do business. Now, I'm still waiting for my deposit refund, which was supposed to be processed this morning. I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience.

Linda lied about the service, about the tyres, about deposits, and about other things. Three sales people told me three different things it felt like things were being made up, rather than getting facts (which i ended up finding out myself). Pressure sales & made me feel like i was in the 'dock!!'. Awful experience so i walked away. Load os communication when they want something but silence when i ask about my deposit back (Paid on credit card, refunded into current account - which i thought was strange). Now car is reduced a few days later. It was a great car, had they been straight with me & treated me like a valued customer i'd be in it now - i wont go back there again after that experience.

My advice would be...walk in then walk out. Save you time and money and go elsewhere. Give it all of... we can do this... we have that ...we have experience. Certainly not manners once you give abit of attitude back.

I purchased a £60,000 car from this company earlier this month and am NOT happy with the service I received. Firstly, Linda, sales rep, was very pushy from beginning to end. Everything right about their car but everything wrong with mine (part-exchanging)! The car I was purchasing had more mileage on it than advertised, but on questioning this, was told, yes but it's still at a competitive price, which we check daily. Asked if they would drop the price, told no. Linda kept emailing and ringing me asking for the exact time I would arrive on the day I was collecting my car - I explained I had a 3 hour drive and would get there when I get there - but she still persisted! Then she asked me to sign documents and return, without even seeing the car! On arrival, we took a look around the vehicle and noticed a small stone chip on the windscreen, which we pointed out to Linda, but she very quickly dismissed it and said it had been fixed, so we took her word for it. But once home, we asked a Autoglass engineer to inspect it and he said it hadn't been touched and was spreading - I now need a new windscreen - what a liar! Linda inspected my vehicle (which I was part-exchanging) and of course, found more faults with it, than apparently I'd explained over the phone. So as expected, offered me less than originally agreed for it. She said she had to ring her 'buyer' to see what he agreed! One minute later, the manager, Johnathon followed her outside! Says it all! When handing over the service history documents, half were chucked on the floor and Linda decided what to give and not to give me. Surely that is my decision - but I didn't' realise at the time. When I got the keys to my car and got inside, the fuel light was RED, completely EMPTY! Linda did explain that the vehicle had the fuel it came with and the nearest petrol station was around the corner - UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have purchased many vehicles, but NEVER one with NO fuel at all!!! After all this, Linda asked for a feedback - yes, no problem - here it is. NOT HAPPY.
Staff member called Gary was extremely rude made offensive comments like shouldn’t have taken it out for a test drive did not address any of the concerns with the car properly like broken cup holders. Knackered steering wheel, faulty lighting etc and was ready to buy however he had a complete lack of knowledge I think he had more knowledge of roadworks going on in the area and the weather rather than the actual car. Definitely avoid never using again

Untrusted, crooks, advantage taker I have bought a V-Class from them, but what they have done is taken the spare wheel out of the car and locked it and also they have taken the Jack gear out as well. The car is covered under the manufacturer warranty, they have serviced with a cheap garage. So I picked up the car with trust that they are trusted dealer, but unfortunately I was wrong trusting them, because I drove the car without any spare wheel and Jack gear set back to London. They have not told me about it at all, so I was very spontaneous with them. And half way back to London, the engine oil light comes up, so u called them and they said that I had to come back to them and leave the car to take it to the garage to get it checked, can you imagine the frustration I was going through, and later I have discovered the spare wheel issue when I took it to MOT and was failed because of that. So I called them and they said that the car does not come with spare wheel from the manufacturer. They treat people as they are stupid and belive their Bullshit.... I also found out that they have made profit £7000 from the car I bought, from a source inside. Here is the question: If you make £7000 from a car profit, what is £ 200 for you to get the whole spare wheel kit??? Instead of taking it out and sell it separately??? By the way: I have taken pictures of everything and send it to them. And also tried to reach the sales person many time ,but unfortunately he did not have the balls to answer me or call me back, I even WhatsApped him but he did not reply, he did as he is dead. I advice anyone to avoid these people from buying , as they juice you out and scam you , specially when they know that you are coming from a long distance and can't be bothered to go back again.. I am taking this further with the financial ambudsman, Instagram, facebook

I just wanted to thank Stephen for his help. We have booked a appoitment to go see a car. He was very helful and knowlegable. We have done the test drive for 20-30 mins he showed me everything about the car. Now I have a lovely 2017 Mercedes Benz. There cars are not scratched and in a very good condition. Also they give competetive prices for part exchange also have reasonable prices for their cars and in a great condition! Definetly recommend and will visit again.
