Please be careful when buying from Rix Motor Company. I dealt with Barry who was spot on but after sales service and standard of vehicle I purchased from them was definitely not as described I would have expected better service when buying £16k car but they are just your typical used car sales so don’t expect great after sales service you have been warned.

Rix Motors are a terrible after sales company! My daughter spent £20 odd thousand on Range Rover but nothing but issues? Got home to london brake light on 2 very poor tyres they said was legal,alarm going off at all times due to defective mechanisms on doors issues after issues! They came picked car up took it back to Warrington brought it back a week later same issues? She put car into Range Rover in londo cost her £1000 for issues they never corrected! They said they fixed the door locking problem? Oh yes with copy parts and broke again within 6 weeks! Call after call nothing but fobbed off with poor excuses! You have been warned do not buy from these they talk a good game promise you the earth and leave you in turmoil with a massive debt! Terrible customer service you have been warned!
Myself and my daughter drove down to Warrington from Glasgow to part exchange my old vehicle for one I had seen online at Rix Motor Company. I was introduced to Scott Capion in sales and he was absolutely terrific and provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. He took us for a test drive in the new vehicle and explained all the pertinent points. The paperwork side of things was completed in under 10 minutes and we were free to make our return journey......the GM came out and introduced himself to us and gave us a bottle of wine.. nice gesture The return journey went very smoothly and the car was 100%. My wife absolutely loves the car, and was amazed at how clean the interior was.......the car only clocked up 6-7000 miles but had a light interior which had obviously been valeted very well. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this garage company to anyone thinking of changing their vehicle.......they hold high quality stock so you could be spoiled for choice. Thanks again to everyone, Chris, Scott and Kyle for your excellent service

Absolutely love my new car, rhys dealt with me from the beginning and was so helpful! And got me the car i wanted with in my budget, couldnt be happier was kept well informed through the whole process, gave me a very good price for my old car and got to drive my new car away on the day was all so quick and simple extremely happy with the service i received! I went to Rix Motor Company for a car with little understanding as it was my first car. They gave me all the talk when I saw a car I really like. First off it was up for £10,000 quick check on Auto Trader there was the same car they were advertising for just over £2500 cheaper!! So ok they knocked the price down for me. We were discussing finance which again I new little about but was advised this was a great deal and defiantly worth it! I was advised I would always be looked after and to come back and they would give me £1000 straight off my next car should I return. So it has come to that moment I have had a child and can no longer have the 3 door car I need something a bit bigger. I contacted RIX via email just off my email I had 4 emails in 1 day off various people and voicemails from the guy I see for the car. Come in Cheryle we have great cars let’s get you a deal sorted. I go from Liverpool to Warrington as am assured they have the cars am after when In fact there was only 1! 1 that was over priced compared to online. They were not willing to give me my so called £1000 promised off my next car. They evaluated my car £1000 shorter than we buy any car and to top it all off I was £1500 in NEGATIVE EQUITY Bare in mind I have had his car over 2.5 years. I trusted them and they well and truly pulled as fast one on me. So anyone out there who knows little about this stuff I strongly recommend you don’t visit them. Absolutely furious.

Good Morning Anon, I was disappointed and surprised to read your review as that is certainly not how we look after our customers at Rix Motors, although I was not personally involved in your conversations I can assure you that our cars are priced very competitively if you compare them like for like including specification, miles and condition, I am sure you will appreciate there are a lot of cars on the web but not all cars are as they should be so please be careful when sourcing cars online, unfortunately the future value of any car is outside the control of a motor dealer and therefore it is a little unfair to hold us responsible for your finance settlement figure against the current value of your car but I would assure you we would do our very best to reduce or remove that deficit should you give us the opportunity, Kind Regards Rix Motors.

We arrived at Rix and was greeted by Mike straight away. This man is a superstar!! He was friendly, knowledgable and understanding (even in our confusing situation). Mike Toole take a bow... you was very professional yet we felt like we had known you personally. Mike made our car buying experience an enjoyable one and was fantastic. Had a Nissan juke from rix motors July 2017.was fine for the first 2 weeks..after the second week the problems started..kept cutting out whilst driving and people were near enough hitting us whilst experiencing this problem.also the revs wouldn't go any higher than 3,000 revs had got in touch regarding the issue also had the person from the AA speak and the person we spoke to didn't want to know also told the warranty was over.what after 2 weeks no chance still have issues now have had work done n still have issues with the car even asked for a replacement vehicle though never got one was saying needed to go for another finance for another car but this isn't what we wanted just wanted a replacement car

Good Morning, I was very disappointed to read your review and although I wasn't personally involved in your enquiry / purchase I can confirm that is not how Rix Motors looks after their customers, over the last 6 months there has been major investment not only in improving facilities to enhance the customer experience but ALL staff have been coached to understand the culture of "The customer comes first", part of the recent investment has been to introduce our aftersales department who look after our customers should they experience any problems once they have taken delivery and they report direct to the owners to ensure a fair resolution process, I do hope that you are willing to give us another chance to restore your confidence in the company, I think you will be pleasantly surprised, Kind Regards Rix Motors.
