Ŵe reserve a çar when we arrived. Met ahsan who was very helpful and friendly and professional and knowledgeable. They all were a great help . Ahsan done a great job looking after us.

We purchased a vehicle in March 2022. In September, the car failed whilst I had my 3 children in the car. No ABS, no headlights, no chassis control - nothing. I got the car home, and it was completely fine next morning. Thinking it was a blip, we waited and it happened again, with 3 children. So we asked Car Shop to look at it. They did. Nothing wrong with it. Ok great. Now fast forward to November and I'm stuck on half term, with a car that doesn't even start!!! Car shop are telling me to take it to another garage, that will allow the warranty claim to be put through. I'm sorry, my warranty is with you. You found nothing last time, well great, but with the car now being dead, you can quite easily recover my vehicle and attempt the diagnosis again. But NO. I don't even want the vehicle anymore. I want them to take the defective one back and I will take my £17,500 cash back. Absolute disgusting service. You should be ashamed.

Bought a golf and after a few weeks noticed an issue with the brakes. Contacted after care and was told to talk it to Halfords for a know appraisal. Was told no issue abs subsequently a few months later the car has failed its MOT on brakes… now Carshop are failing to respond to any calls or messages despite the fact I have an extended warranty avoid this like new way of selling cars

I am really disappointed to write this review as think that this place got potential and perhaps we have been unlucky. However I feel I need to warn other buyers. Our experience was not best to say the least. First view of the car some sensors came up with faults,car was not cleaned in and out,buttons not working. We were apologised and promised this will be all rectified. Came after few days,this was our second visit and travel 40 miles there and back. Sit in the shop for 5 hrs for paperwork to be sorted ,no drink offered as all the machines were broken apparently. Through the selling process we have been pushed to take Gradex service for £300 extra, that would cover the car with special protection in and out and was promised it will be valeted before. After 2h waiting we finally got the car, jumped straight in trusting all is sorted to go back home as nearly closing time for the shop. While driving back the chemicals smells make me sick and after arrival at home and inspection they covered all the dirt and dust with this protection product. The car was not valeted at all. We have registered the complaint but no one came back. So for whoever buy from this place do not get fooled for those extra products they offer,and there are loads,if I was not working in insurance I would probably been convinced to take all of those extra products but I can only assume how other perform looking at this simple valet service. Very disappointed indeed

Reserved a car, been waiting since Monday for them to sort the necessary documents so i can collect the car as arranged on the Saturday, it is now Thursday and i am no further with this than i was last weekend. Nathan was off for 2 days and nothing could be sorted in his absence by any other business managers. Every other business manager is always "to busy". Always promised a call back, never received one in over 5 promised. seems they have enough staff to deal with new customers but anyone who has already paid is no longer a priority. If this is the customer service when buying a car i couldn't imagine what the service would be like if there was issues with the car after driving away. Would not recommend if you want a stress free experience.

I bought the car of my dreams 😍 Consultant Marshall she was very kind and let me choose what I wanted I was not forced and that's what I really liked. Nathan Rimmer was very kind to us and explained very well what I expect in the future 😁I did not like it very much when I had to wait a very long time to do all the necessary documents to be able to leave safely 😁But Nathan Rimmer took care not to get too bored 😉The truth is that the car was not well cleaned inside 😒Otherwise everything was ok and I hope that I will not have problems with my new car that I adore 😍

Shamefully still withholding my money! The sales agents want nothing to do with any complaints, returns. The teams don’t have any consistent policies. The car was grubby, missing mats, and I spent the hour collecting it being sold all sorts of products despite informing them I was on a tight timeline for collection. Back and forth three times trying to sell me something which eventually made me late for an appointment. I returned the car as I didn’t feel it was worth what was paid and it had been such a rush in the collection. Eventually they accepted the return after a lot of insistence (I had been told I could do so within 14 days) but I am still waiting for my full refund. After days of chasing after only receiving a part- payment I was told that they were holding back £599 until I returned the V5. This wasn’t communicated at all during the return process and I was told I could keep it as they would deregistered the car. I ended up having to spend a further afternoon returning it on the promise I would receive an immediate payment. I’m still waiting for it! The processes are not clear, the team don’t seem trained, the pressure is on the team to sell all sorts of policies. This has been a terrible experience and I’m afraid I can’t recommend this dealership. Even when chasing for payments the guy I dealt with ( a manager!) was cocky and unapologetic!

So after my last visit to CarShop Swindon, which was a number of years ago and nothing to do with buying a car, I was a little apprehensive about going there. However, I’m so glad I did. There was a friendly greeting from all of the team (we took our dog there too and they were cool with that). I dealt with Mike P throughout. He was patient, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Not a pressure sale at all, but more like a couple of friends chatting about getting a new car. Eventually (my fault not his), got a car reserved, transferred from Norwich really quickly, and did the deal really quickly on Thur 30 Sep (I had tickets to see the new James Bond film) and now the owner of a very nice Jag XE. Must mention two others, the guy sorting out payment (sorry didn’t clock your name, and Jamie too, who despite the time pressure I was putting them under, helped get the final details sorted in double quick time and Jamie helped me clear out my old Passat into the boot of the XE before I drove it away for the first time. If you’re looking for a new used car, I recommend you give them a visit! Thanks all

Bought a car on Sunday, service was excellent until we got put through to the business manager to pay for the car, for no fault of my own I wasn't able to drive away with it. I drove more than one hour to go buy the car and was given no previous notice that there was a time limit for a credit check to be put through. Anyway, the next day is where the awful experience began. After being ping ponged around on the telephone, I was informed that my finance was refused, however there was no explanation of why that happened, the manager on the phone, who was supposed to be their 'most experienced', was rude and wrongly me accused of asking for them to do something illegal (I only asked if my dad would be able to finance the car on his name, which as I had previously discussed with other managers and employees and got told it was a completely normal thing to do), he then proceeded to send me the documents to sign with a third broker that would be able to provide me with the financing at a greater APR, all of this in a rushed and unpolite manner. After sending all the documents through to the broker, I found out that my name, which they had written down both in pen and paper and in my licence, was sent out grossly misspelled. As this could be the reason I got rejected on my credit check, I called the store yesterday and got told a business manager was going to contact me asap. It's been more than one full day and I still haven't heard from him. So yeah, at carshop you get the first class treatment only before you give them your money, as soon as they have your deposit they don't give a damn about customer satisfaction. Extremely disappointed with the service and rudeness I was treated with. It's Wednesday now, I'm leaving to uni on Sunday and still have no car or the free time to drive and pick it up, you'd expect the least they would do is offer their delivery service as an apology...

Test drove a car. Spotted severe is with said car (not fit for sale or roadworthy). Management were very keen to resolve the issue IF I put a deposit down on the car. Followed my gut and did not place a deposit, as they are still selling the car as is and have not bothered to rectify the issue. Rogue traders, manager is a conman.
