In August i bought a Skoda from here. The dealers have been helpful but the car has had numerous issues that were not covered by warranty and it had cost me over £1000 to put right. I would still recommend this dealership, i think I was just very unlucky with this car.

Back in August I purchased a Seat Ibiza from Carshop. The car was very nice and clean and in good condition and up to now I have had no issues with it at all. I didn't have much communication with the dealers but they were pleasant and The car is good value for money. I would recommend them.

we recently visited Carshop Swindon to help my son get some idea of cars available ready for when he is preparing to purchase his first vehicle. We were greeted by a nice young gentleman who asked if we had been there before, which we had because we had purchased a car from here a few years back. He escorted us into the showroom and explained ho w it worked, informed us that all the cars were locked and that if we wanted to look in any we would have to inform him and he would open them for us. We acknowledged this and began looking at the cars, talking amongst ourselves about things. The gentleman followed us around, interrupted our conversations time and time again, which quickly became very annoying and was quite rude. We were just trying to show our son some options, prices etc but the way the sales people have been trained (as it isn't his fault really it is how the company think it should be done, wrong by the way) gives an impression of deep distrust of their customers. why do the cars need to be locked? So that the sales person needs to be on the customer has to rely on them so they can add the extra on the hard sell? It is a horrible feeling being followed this way and was enough to influence our decision to leave and make the choice of not going back to purchase from there. Maybe the way the salesmen/women are trained and asked to behave should be looked at again as it is off putting and I can't imagine that I am the only one who has felt this way about it. Having cars locked is a difficult one, I get it from a safety point and that it helps prevent the cars being damaged but again, it leads to a feeling of distrust. We will not go back and I really wouldn't encourage any of my friends to either, which is a shame as the range of cars is fabulous.
I got a BMW from Carshop Swindon In April. The bloke who took me for a test drive in it was really helpful and was able to answer any questions I had and was very friendly. Would really recommend them. Had no problems with the car at all.
